This was the worst home to put your family in. They stole my dead father’s phone after only 2 weeks of him being dead then said family came to get it. They neglected to answer call lights. This place has paint peeling from the walls and people you would see at a night club running it. The most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever been to. Don’t send your loved ones to this place.

I’m posting this with two stars with hope that it will be more visible than if it joined the ranks of the 1 star ratings which it rightly deserves. My wife was sent to this facility from a local hospital when she required follow-up care that could not be accomplished with home health care. Treatment included IV antibiotics at 12 hour intervals. The facility could not manage to administer the IVs on schedule and in one instance went 36 hours between infusions. The staff was uncooperative and argumentative preferring to excuse problems rather than address them. The excuses were many - somebody called in sick, somebody went home for a family emergency, the medicine is not on hand. Excuses were accompanied by promises that the next dose would be on time. Those promises were not kept either. The staff did not have a working knowledge of type 1 diabetes. Blood glucose checks were not administered appropriately and not synchronized to meals. Meal selection and content were not appropriate to the patients condition. At one point, the staff disagreeing about how to treat a serious insulin reaction, just walked away leaving the patient to fend for themselves. Contrary to other ratings, the facility was dirty. Pressing the staff call button to get help didn’t accomplish anything. Other patients were screaming and yelling. My wife was able to overlook most of that. When she couldn’t get people to follow the doctor’s orders she was instructed by her primary care doctor to remove herself from the facility and return to the hospital. If you read the better ratings you’ll see that many are coworkers talking about how much they like coworkers. Maybe that is what people were attending to when they should have been helping patients. I urge you to find another facility

An older facially but very clean . Staff was friendly and helpful. The director Sam was very accessible and hands on with my case and treatment. If I should have to return to skilled nursing I would definitely choose to return.

My Aunt resides here at Calimesa Post Accute. She has Dementia. Stephanie, Admissions Coordinator and Shannon, DON, have been instrumental in assisting us in placement there for my Aunt. They are very Professional and Helpful in assisting in patients and making sure they are cared for. Mark Hansen, Administrator, also makes sure that the facility runs smoothly. I am very happy with the way the entire staff has cared for my Aunt. Thank you Stephanie, Shannon, and Mark

WARNING: My family have used several nursing facilities and this is the worst I have experienced. Very clean, but the level of competency and skilled nursing is low. My father needed to be sent back to the hospital less than 24 hours after arriving due to a nurse using a wooden stick to try to clear a blockage in a feeding tube. Think twice and look at other options before committing.
