I wanted to respond to Calyx however as viewers will find they have removed the option to respond to their statement, so I’ve attached the image of their response and my family’s is as follows: REPLY TO CALYX: Thank you for your response. My review reflects my family’s real, firsthand experience and concerns. Not every family member involved in a loved one’s care or decision-making will appear under the same name in a facility’s records, which likely explains your statement. Rather than addressing the concerns raised, this response feels dismissive and attempts to discredit the feedback being shared. Transparency matters, and my intention in posting was to provide honest insight so other families can make informed decisions. I stand by what I shared and sincerely hope meaningful improvements are made for current and future residents and their loved ones.

It’s funny I’ve been visiting this facility for about a year and every time I meet new employees that I like they all of a sudden disappear.. It’s so hard to find good help every time I feel like I’ve made a friend who I’m trusting with my grandmother they’re gone. There’s no explanation at all. I’m noticing a revolving door of talented young bright minded individuals to be honest unless this is corrected I will be retracting or withdrawing my family from this place.

Loved how the facility look, decided to come in and tour, heard staff talking about the Director being terminated in front of the facility & instantly was turned off. Decided to do some digging and realized the company has the highest turnover rate in the state. Maybe one day we will be back but not until the reputation changes.

I recently had a tour and an amazing lunch at the new Calyx. This neighborhood is so lucky to have this new facility! From the second you walk in, you can't ignore the attention to detail and the importance they place on Resident experience and quality of life. I highly recommend scheduling a tour or reaching out to Jason Scott, the Area Sales Director, for more information.

Calyx of Wakefield is what every assisted living facility should aspire to be. The staff are well trained, friendly, accommodating and very caring. The administrators are very visible and helpful, and chef Ryan’s food is healthy, and delicious. Rooms are bright and airy and the facility is gorgeous. You feel like you’re in a top notch resort. This is what my father deserves, and after 3 years in a subpar facility, the difference between Calyx and other AL communities is night and day. I can’t recommend it more highly.
