CAMARILLO SENIOR LIVING

I have lived here for about eight months. The staff has always been exemplary. One day, as I went to jersey mike's for a sandwich, apparently one of the executives was ahead of me (scott) in line, and when I got to the front of the line, he had already paid for me ! Just an example of how you can expect to be treated here- like family. Its always clean here, and the dining room always has many things to choose from. I was unlucky with my health and needed to come here. But I sure count myself as fortunate to have landed here!

My grandmother moved into memory care here last July. We moved her from a different facility (also in Camarillo) and feel that this place offers so much more for a reasonable price. We've toured close to 10 senior living communities in the Ventura County area and feel that the layout and atmosphere here is one of the best. They have lots of activities to get involved with plus a salon, library, and other amenities on site. The staff, from receptionists to cooks to caregivers, is extremely kind and helpful. The memory care department is run really well and we are happy with the care my grandmother receives. They have doctors come in to address urgent issues which reduces stress for family members. There is even a skilled nursing section if that is needed. If you're looking for a place for yourself or a loved one, reach out to Don Saunders the sales director. He helped us immensely.

Today I had a scheduled appointment with Don- he was not available, but Sharon the receptionist/concierge who has been there 3 years was nice enough to find relief for the front desk and show me around the building. Thanks so much to Sharon- you are a true asset to the Camarillo Senior Living family.

If anyone should know about this incredible skilled nursing facility it would be me! My husband was here for 2 months last year, I was here for 2 weeks in May, and I was just here for another 3 weeks. It's all about the people and the staff here couldn't be more wonderful and compassionate. From Edward and Misi on down, I'm amazed that this entire facility is overflowing with angels straight from Heaven. The nurses, CNA's, and the fabulous physical therapists - I felt like I was always in the very, very best of care. I could write a book filled with lovely stories and I will always be grateful.

As we transition my mother into assisted living, it is a quite exhausting task. Rebecca and Cheryl were able to provide excellent customer service and provide us with a ton of information as well as make us feel confident and comfortable in our choice and the process thus far. They have been great to work with and we are excited to move things forward.
