I cannot say enough wonderful things about Canal View Rest Home. Our family is so grateful we found them, they provided not only excellent care but genuine compassion for my mom for almost four years. Marilou took such incredible care of my mom. She treated her with dignity, kindness, and so much love. It gave my dad and me such peace knowing Mom was in such capable and caring hands. Marilou didn’t just care for her as a patient, she made us feel like family. She is truly one of a kind! The entire atmosphere at Canal View is warm, personal, and comforting. We are forever grateful for the care, attention, and heart they showed our family. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will truly be cared for. You will have such peace of mind knowing your loved one is in great hands!

This is a fantastic place for elder care. The home is extremely comfortable for both residents and visitors. Mari Lou is absolutely amazing and takes phenomenal care of those that live there. We are so happy we found this place and would highly recommend it to others.

My 93 year old mother moved to the Canal View Rest Home after she fell in her apartment a few years ago. I am 100% satisfied with the care my mom receives. My mother was in bad shape after her fall and was not expected to live very long. Thanks to the loving, kind and attentive care mom receives at the Canal View Rest Home my mom is healthier now and enjoying her life. Marilou at Canal View is very easy to work with. She always keeps us informed about mom’s condition and Marilou works seamlessly with mom’s Hospice team. Putting your loved one into care is a big scary decision. My Mother has been living at Canal View Rest Home for the last couple of years and we are more than happy with the facility and the people in charge. We moved her there after a major problem with her pacemaker and a brief stay at a "professional rehab facility" that turned out to be a terrible place for her. My mother has been very well taken care of by the nurses and staff at Canal View. The level of care and support she gets is of the utmost importance to us we are always happy when we are there for a visit and we can see how well things are going for my mom ! They are always sure to include mom in all activities and they truly make the holidays bearable for family's that are apart. Always a clean and comfortable setting, making it an at home feeling ! Can't thank Marilou enough !!!

I cannot say enough good things about Canal View Rest Home. My grandmother has been a resident here for several years now, and receives impeccable care. It is the kind of care you can only pray your family receives. It is clean, efficient, and incredibly well run. Marilou treats all her residents like she would family. She is one of the most hard working, trustworthy, and compassionate people I have ever met. I would choose for my grandmother to be a resident at Canal View Rest home over any other Assisted Living Facility by a long shot. We are so grateful for the care she receives, and would recommend Canal View Rest Home for anyone seeking care.
