Candle Light Cove

My family moved my aunt to Candle Light Cove and it has been so beneficial for her. She is no longer at home, alone and unsafe. She is surrounded by wonderful residents and staff. She attends various activities and has a much better quality of life. The staff are all dedicated to the residents and go above and beyond to make her comfortable and happy.

I have heard a lot of great things about Candle Light Cove. Friends of our family had their father at this community. They were impressed with the level of care & concern that the staff showed during his stay. I enjoyed my visits as well & their many events. This is a great community that I would truly recommend.

The personalized care and meaningful activities promotes independence while maintaining the quality of life essential for wellbeing. The well-trained and compassionate staff are provided educational training to maximize their skills.

When my mom's memory issues began progressing rapidly, our family realized we needed help. We were fortunate to have been referred by many people in the community to consider assisted living at Candle Light Cove for mom. I remember walking in for our visit. The entrance was beautiful and we were greeted so warmly by every single person we encountered. There was so much natural light and everything was absolutely spotless. Every hallway and every room smelled fresh and clean. We decided immediately that this would be a wonderful place for our mom. Our mom has been living at Candle Light Cove for about 10 months and her care has been stellar. She has made new friends, enjoyed delicious food, sleeps well and safely. Her room is kept spotless, her laundry is always done, folded and put away. All of the kind nurses have patently taken care of her every single need and also kindly dealt with my endless questions and concerns as well. Whenever I visit, I feel as if I am walking into a beautiful home with amazing people, who are constantly working together for the comfort of everyone who lives there. Mom is kept as busy as she would like to be with various games, activities, crafts, concerts and outings too. Without a doubt, we know we have made the right decision for our mom. Thank you to everyone at Candle Light Cove for finding a way to provide so much care for so many sweet and wonderful residents and for giving everyone the dignity they so truly deserve.

I am writing this on behalf of my mother who will be 97 in July and has been a resident at Candlelight Cove for six months now. The move was a great decision and a very nice place for her to call home. The staff has been wonderful especially during the very challenging period of moving her in and helping her get acclimated to a new home after leaving the one she lived in for so many years. It’s not a large, overcrowded facility so the staff really did take the time get to know her personally. The facility is light and airy and well-maintained, both inside and on the grounds. The common areas are very nice for exercise, activities, etc. Oh, and she loves that there is an inhouse hair salon! The medical staff has also been great. Mom is in wheelchair, so she needs extra attention throughout the day. They also provide regular check-ups, manage her meds and are mindful of her dietary needs. Of course, she also has a call button so at any time day or night a staff person is just moments away. In general the place is warm, welcoming and professionally managed. It’s a comfort for us ‘kids’ - both in our 60s - to see her engaging with others and participating in activities, parties and ‘road trip lunches to nearby restaurants. Our family is very pleased with our decision and I highly recommend Candlelight for those in need of an Assisted Living facility.
