My only regret is we didn't move earlier. My husband has Parkinsons and hallucinates and was falling frequently at home. Tina was very upfront and said they can't provide 1:1 support but worked with us with a safety monitor and other ideas to see if we can help him not fall. He likes the attention he gets and likes the food. I like knowing someone is there to watch over him, help him if he falls and knowing he gets his medications on-time which is so important with Parkinsons.

Caraway was a true blessing for our family. Our 83 year old dad suffered from Alzheimer's and other ailments. As our dad's disease progressed, he became a handful for me and my sister to take care of at home. He was getting pretty bad off even to the extent of becoming aggressive. He developed a UTI and, while in the hospital, the hospital social worker came in and suggested that we should consider a home for him. My sister and I were devastated as we swore we were going to take care of him in his home and never send him to a nursing home/assisted living. Sadly, we realized the hospital staff was correct so, we resigned ourselves to the fact that he would have to go into a home. Caraway came highly recommended so we contacted them while our dad was still in the hospital. Tina, the director of Caraway, came out to the hospital to visit our dad and assured us he would be a good fit for their facility so we made arrangements to visit the home. We liked what we saw but were still hesitant, as this was our father, after all, and he deserved the best. With great trepidation, we moved Dad into Caraway and we were, and have been, pleasantly surprised ever since. From the business owner, the aides, the medical staff to the maintenance man, they have all been super nice, kind, caring and compassionate. Our dad was "a handful" at times but the staff was ALWAYS amazing with him. During the day, the front door was always unlocked so we could walk in and visit our dad at any time. This was great because, at the beginning, we would make "surprise visits" throughout the day to make sure he was being taken care of. No matter the day or time, he was always well taken care of. Our dad ended up passing away while at Caraway. Hospice worked hand in hand with the Caraway staff and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I could feel the love from each staff member as they expressed their condolences to our family. Not only WOULD I recommend friends and family to Caraway, but I HAVE recommended them. One of our elderly neighbors is now at Caraway, actually in Dad's old room, and she is loving it. If you're considering Caraway for a loved one, our experience says you'll be very happy with the how well they will be cared for! I wish I knew then what I know now so I wouldn't have been so anxious about moving our father.

Caraway is amazing. Six months ago they helped with an emergency placement for my mother in law, who has dementia. She has thrived under their care, and they are patient and kind with her. My father in law moved in just this weekend, and once again they have gone above and beyond in helping to facilitate everything. Tina is just awesome and has been so supportive, hard working, and helpful. The whole staff is caring, friendly, and efficient. Heather and Sammie have also taken time to talk with us and patiently answer questions. I love this place!

My wife had dementia. I was very impressed by the way staff treats the residents at Caraway. Tina is amazing and I can tell she works hard to hire the right people. I really enjoyed the family nights and how the staff looked after me too. Great care!

New home for dad. Very happy with facility at this time 4:1 ratio patients to care givers...meals served family style...large 2 person rooms that include bathroom with tub and shower...small library, 4 recliners in the TV area...
