JUNIPER VILLAGE AT PARAMUS (NJ5A006)

This place needs to get shut down !!!!!!!! The bosses are careless they do things under the table they are short staff always. I feel so bad for the good caregivers at least they're is only a few !!!!!!!! One men caregiver is very rough with the elders another one has nails longer then ever which is disturbing. The food looks gross . The admin lady is fake and don't care . The caregivers tell us they lock microwaves and aren't allowed to drink water !!!!!!!!!!! What is this jail ???????

Our father was at Harmony Village for over a year before passing. The staff members were truly warm and caring. They treated each resident with love and respect. Each staff member was attentive to our father’s needs. After a short time there, they knew his likes and dislikes.  We would visit often and see that he was clean and well cared for. He was always shaved and hair well groomed. They have a variety of activities to keep the residents engaged. It was nice to see our father participating. The facility is very safe and secure. The building was always clean. His apartment was always neat, clean and laundry done. The staff was always friendly and greeted us with a smile. The nursing and medical staff explained step by step what was needed.  They were always available  to answer my questions or address any concerns. They gave him dignity in the last period of his life and took away many of our worries. We highly recommended Harmony Village for your loved one.

My mom has been there a month now. I am pleased on the attentive staff and extreme cleanliness of the premises. The facility is very secure. I visit often and it is nice to see that my mom has been engaged in the activities and she always looks her best. The memory care staff has a lot of challenges and they all respond with very pleasant attitudes. The individual studio apartments are top notch. All new appliances and furniture. If you are dealing with an elderly person with dementia, I highly recommend Harmony Village at CareOne on Paramus Road in Paramus, NJ.

Harmony Village in Paramus is truly the best for memory care. I highly recommend it. As someone in the medical field, I am well aware of how patients should be treated and cared for. This place is amazing. They have shown extreme kindness and patience (which is very much needed with this population). All I want is for my mother to be blissfully happy and well-cared for, and this place does this. The charge nurse Blanca does an amazing job despite the added complexities of residents' memory and cognition deterioration. The food, activities, and social events are excellent and abundant. This is the way memory care facilities should be run. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom. :)

I would highly recommend Harmony village of Paramus for loved ones with memory challenges. Risa kory leads a team of caregivers, nurses, activity coordinators, maintenance and kitchen staff who are compassionate, patient and keep the facility extremely clean and welcoming. Blanca, lead nurse, is always available to answer medical questions. My mom has made many friends with other residents and keeps busy with the daily activities. While watching my mom’s memory decline has been difficult, knowing she is happy, active and well cared for every day at this point in her life is a great relief for our family. Thank you to the entire staff at Harmony village of Paramus.
