CARE PARTNERS ASSISTED LIVING ALTOONA II

My brother and I went to tour this facility after finding out that my mom could reside there. I called Tina, the manager to setup a time for a tour. Tina said to come anytime we wanted to because it wasn’t necessary to have an appointment . My brother and I went there for a tour but were told to leave the building “NOW” after we were told there wasn’t a manger there to guide our tour. I called Inclusa to see what was going on. While waiting we talked to a male resident outside for about 10 minutes. Inclusa called me back to tell us that our mom wasn’t going to be able to go there after all. About 5 minutes later another woman came outside and told us to leave the grounds immediately. All we were doing was talking about cars and hunting with an old man from the town I reside in. All the workers we encountered were incredibly rude, impolite, and secretive. I can’t imagine how they treat their residents.

Was invited to care partners to get a tour of the facility. My brother and I got there and was not allowed to tour the place, worker said both the manager and co manager were out on emergency, funny how she disappeared around the corner to talk, Then came back and said nothing was available and told us to leave. Found out thru my mother’s social worker that they refused to take her 2 weeks prior but never let us know. We left and were talking outside waiting my brothers wife to pick him up when we were told to leave the property If you want to be lied to and treated like this This is the place for your family member. Staff was very rude.

One of the female managers is a sad, nasty, sour, pathetic version of a human being. We were met with a foul mouthed, irritable, and rude girl when we were trying to inquire about a patients medicine. She then proceeded to call us names and hang up without giving us the information that we need. Please dont leave your loved ones under the care of this "person". She was clearly intoxicated and behaving disgustingly.

Care partners in Altoona is very professional and I got love for the director she always goes above and beyond‼️
