CAREHAVEN VALENCIA

I haven't written many reviews in my life. The blessings from CareHaven Valencia compel me to share my experiences there. My family has been through an extremely difficult 3 months. My stepdad suffered a mild stroke the end of September. It effected his ability to swallow food and drink. On the blessed side, he remained primarily independent and was able to Uber himself to a doctor's appt. and safely return home, days after the stroke. He was admitted into the hospital that same night for aspiration pneumonia. The next seven weeks my stepdad's health deteriorated to the point of us considering Hospice as the next step for his care. There is no doubt in my mind as someone who witnessed this deterioration first hand, it was due to the lack of quality medical care. Then, our prayers were answered, and there before us were Jina & David, and their amazing growing CareHaven staff, handing us a LIFE line for my dad. I sing their praises from the bottom of my heart. We have dubbed them Angels on Earth. They are the real deal. They genuinely care about their residents and make family and friends feel welcome. They are professional and above task. Their fresh start in becoming a Board & Care, shines sparkly clean in this beautiful home. The first thing my mom said, "If he lives here, he'll never want to come home." It's some nice digs y'all! :) Being new to the numerous regulations they must follow to the letter (and they do) David & Jina were able to obtain an exception required for my dad, in what some in this industry called, "miraculous time." CareHaven has been a blessing every step of the way! We have seen the difference quality care for the physical, emotional, and soulful parts of a person can make. Since being at CareHaven, we have seen my dad move from a wheelchair to a walker. We have seen him smile and laugh again. We have seen him gain strength, and recover a lot of his independence. Since being at CareHaven, we see him looking forward with hope. We have witnessed the difference the loving care given to residents at CareHaven make for all involved. My shoulders have felt pounds of relief by our family being supported by CareHaven. They allow us to provide the best quality care for our loved one. #ForeverGrateful

If I could rate Carehaven with 10 stars I would! This home is absolutely beautiful, very comfortable, incredibly well managed, and has been a saving grace for my stepfather. He was in sever prior facilities after having a stroke, and none come anywhere close in comparison to the quality care he is receiving at Carehaven. It has been a Godsend to him and our family! Jina and David (the owners) are two of the kindest-hearted people you will ever meet. Their gentle and patient care is both professional and impressive. My stepfather has many challenges and every one of his needs have been attentively met with grace and patience. The home is immaculate with plenty of space for activities and families to visit. We are able to contact them at anytime to check in and get updates, and the cost is very reasonable for the outstanding care offered. I simply can not say enough wonderful things about Carehaven and the angels who run it! This home is honestly a true blessing for people who are unable to independently care for themselves. I am beyond grateful to have my loved one at Carehaven and the peace of mind it brings me!
