CARING HEARTS COTTAGE

Let me start off by saying that nobody ever wants to send their loved one for end of life care to any place other than home. Judy Garland said it…”there’s no place like home”. And the decision to find a place to care for a treasured loved one is never easy. I was so fortunate to find Caring Hearts Cottage. My mother, Diana, spent her last week on this earth at Caring Hearts Cottage under hospice care (Blue Monarch Hospice). She was a retired RN with 45 years’ home health and hospice care experience so the bar was set pretty high. My mom was under their care for 7 days before she passed. But we were there every single day and I have to say the care Caring Hearts Cottage gave my mother was exceptional and beyond anything I could have ever asked for. We arrived early one day to find Robert, one of our favorite caregivers, gently stroking her face and talking softly to her while he gave her juice. Everyone was amazing but I can’t help but give a special call out to Aaron, Robert, and Jhonna, who we interacted with the most during the daytime shifts. Jhonna was so sweet and tender..she treated my mom with such kindness, gentleness , love, dignity, and compassion. She called all of the ladies there Mama. My mom was Mama Diana ❤️ And Robert…where do I begin? His kindness, sweetness, and sunshine brought a smile to not only my mom’s face but to all our faces during this indescribably difficult time. And Aaron provided a safe, clean, comfortable home with an exceptional team of caregivers that helped my mom and my family through the most difficult time in our lives. I don’t know how we would have gotten through this experience without them. I can’t thank them enough for their top notch care and support. My mother was only there for 1 week but in that short time we all left the home feeling like family ❤️ I can’t recommend Caring Hearts Cottage and their caring staff members highly enough!

This is a fantastic assisted living home. The owners and staff care deeply about their patients. They have taken good care of my grandmother, unlike the previous facility we were with. I am grateful we found Caring Hearts! They are professional and kind.

NOT GOOD

Maybe the best in North County. This home is really beautiful and the owners (husband and wife) were very sweet and attentive while my father was there. He was in two other homes that could not care for him properly. I'm glad we found Caring Hearts Cottage.
