For them it’s more like enjoying an endless vacation, more than having a way to live. The atmosphere, the friendly neighbors, and the beautiful surroundings all come together to create a lifestyle that is both relaxing and enriching. It is a place where you can relax and feel comfortable and create memories every single day. Living here is not only about having a place to call home — it is part of a life more colorful, more joyful, that many of you call a great privilege. I wish I can give it another star!

Carlton San Leandro is a beautiful, safe, and vibrant community. The activities are abundant and truly top notch. The location is so convenient. To see residents cared for with genuine love while they also find joy each day is a lovely site to see. A true family environment!

If you are looking for a senior living place for your mother and father Carlton of San Leandro has an excellent and caring team that will make your mother feel at home. When considering for my mother, I wanted a place where she felt at home right away as it was traumatizing for her to think she would have to leave her home or 53 years. From the welcome, the loving atmosphere and the team who showed great care, this place shouts SAFETY and LOVE. I highly recommend this community!

My aunt experienced a life changing fall that required her to move to Senior living. She had visited a friend at Carlton in San Leandro for years and so knew this was where she wanted to go. She was in the Assisted living side for only a month before she was diagnosed with dementia. The management and staff gave us exceptional guidance, help and emotional support during that time. The Memory Care side was equally well run. It was a much smaller environment, which with dementia is comforting and the staff could interact with all the residence easily. When it came time for Hospice, she was cared for with incredible respect and compassion. I always felt she was safe (and I visited frequently). I never regretted the decision of placing her at Carlton San Leandro. I am so grateful to the management and staff. Without their help and knowledge, the stress would have been overwhelming.
