We are beyond grateful for the love and compassion our Aunt receives through Windrush and Agape Care Hospice. Emily is truly a blessing, her kindness, presence, and genuine care bring so much comfort and peace to her and our family. She leads with heart, and it’s reflected in the warmth and dedication of the entire Windrush staff who is amazing. Agape Hospice’s staff also works beautifully alongside them, caring for her with gentleness and dignity while also supporting our family during an emotional time. Together, they have surrounded us with comfort, peace, and love that we will always be thankful for. Thank you all

We recently moved my Dad into Windrush at Garden City. There were several challenges NOT not related to Windrush that made the move more complicated and stressful than expected. The staff at Windrush really stepped up to help get the move and transition done and to make it as easy as possible for Dad. They didn't have to do it, but every staff member I dealt with went the extra mile (several miles in a couple of cases) in the interest of making Dad's transition successful. His day to day experience has been very good, with the employees showing patience and respect, his meals in the dining room being to his liking, and the overall atmosphere being inviting but without pressure. This is exactly what he (and most other folks like him) needs. Would recommend Windrush to anyone who has a family member they care about who needs a good assisted living experience.

I just wanted to say that I have gone to visit my mom here many many times before and this Mother’s Day visit was the best!! There was a manger named Jen setting up for a Mother’s Day activity and the way she made me feel and my mom this visit was so wonderful! She is the sweetest woman I have felt with in that place since the last year and a half I have visited. So refreshing to see such a young vibrant employee show the care and energy for the people here! Thank you Jen for the wonderful atmosphere today!!

My mom moved into Carolina Gardens in Oct. She has COPD and could no longer take care of herself. It was a really stressful decision as you hear about all the horror stories. My mom has a very limited income so we were really worried we wouldn't find a place that was safe and clean. We really lucked out when we found Carolina Gardens! All of the staff are incredibly helpful and go above and beyond helping. My mom has made so many new friends and is always busy with the activities. I love that she doesn't have to worry about cooking and cleaning. The activities are amazing. My mom is so much more active than she had been which is really great for her COPD and her mind.

Carolina Gardens is an awesome assisted living facility. Very clean & the staff is very nice & attentive to their patients. The administrator is very knowledgeable about assisted living facilities, she has many years of experience & cares about the patients in this facility. If I ever had to go into an assisted living facility this one I would chose because it is managed very efficiently .
