Caitlin and really the whole staff are great!! My parents both needed care , as we were finalizing things my father passed away. Once we were ready my mother went into the memory care unit. It was just before Christmas so there was a little confusion but after a few days it was obvious that I had chosen well. The aides and med techs worked with her Hospice care team to provide her with the best possible care. She was brighter and more engaged than before!! Unfortunately Alzheimer’s took her after only 6 weeks. But it was the best 6 weeks I could have asked for. I don’t remember all the girls mass but special shout out to Hannah and Yanna for caring so much!! It is my great pleasure to leave a review about the Terra Bella in Rock Hill, Caitlin, the sales director, and the team that works with the residents. Without going into many details, my mother's situation was time sensitive and extremely emotional. It put me in uncharted Territory ,with little support personally and guidance. Caitlyn jumped into the situation literally and walked me through. She supported me, as if we were family, and reassured me that she and her team, would do everything they could for my mom. My mother was forced to leave her previous assisted living facility due to behavioral issues because of her dementia. Caitlin was understanding. She kept in touch with me day and night including on her weekend. She arranged assessment for my mom ASAP while she remained in the hospital. She reassured me that her team would put together a wonderful plan for my mom so that she can thrive, in the best way possible, in their facility. I am currently recovering from two major orthopedic surgeries and I am not able to drive. Caitlin went over and above to be sure that everything I needed to handle and put in place would be done for me. She remained in contact with my placement specialist. She remained in contact with the senior movers that we hired. Caitlin also remained in contact with the hospital case manager. Caitlin literally , personally handled every aspect of this very emotional situation for me. She kept me updated, every step of the way. I couldn't have made it without her. I have the utmost confidence in Caitlyn and her staff. I have a good feeling in my heart that my mom will do well. As well as she can in this stage of her life. I know my mom is safe ,which is so important to me. If you meet Caitlin, if you're so fortunate to meet her, you will see that she is passionate about her job. Caitlin is passionate about giving the seniors ,the residents ,the best care possible. I couldnt have made it without her. And the two words of "thank you, Really do not seem like enough. I'm not one to be quick with leaving a review. I like to wait until the "Honeymoon Phase" is over and with that being said, my parents have been there 9 months now and it has been a learning experience. From our first meeting and tour with Logan, to meeting and interacting with the rest of the management/leadership team, Susan, Wes, Wanda, Laura (I hope I didn't leave anyone out) the welcome and warmth of reception to not just myself and sisters, but also our parents, was VERY reassuring that we picked the right place. Their patience, guidance and wisdom with myself and sisters was so very helpful. Learning to listen, comprehend, and put into practice what the staff was telling us was a HUGE learning curve for us. Their, the staffs, patience is incredible as we learned to "let go" and trust them to do what they do best! After all, isn't that what we, for a lack of a better way to say it, hired them to do? Over the past months of getting to know some of the team, Sharon, Jodi, Paul, just to name a FEW of the Amazing caregivers, you can tell they truly love what they do. Mom has really taken to and responds well to Jodi who's wit, care and understanding of where mom is at, helps to calm mom in those panic and anxious moments. Knowing how to do that is a true gift. My parents were moved in almost a year ago. All of the staff have been helpful and supportive. I can tell that the staff really care about their residents (especially Laura, Jodi, Sharon, Paul, and many others whose names escape me at this moment). The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable with my parents medical conditions. Their knowledge has helped sisters and me to help our parents better in their new home. My sisters and I are very grateful for the care that our parents are receiving.
