SPRING OAK YORK

Spring Oak was a blessing to my father. When he became ill we knew he would need assistance beginning small and eventually growing. Things like doing laundry, making meals, walking up/down stairs, driving, etc became difficult and all these things were immediately aided upon moving in. Not only was the staff hard at work, they also became his friends and family. When dad became very ill we decided to bring him back to Spring Oak on hospice where they served him with LOVE, compassion and concern. Spring Oak was one of the best decisions we made for our dad.

I was Mom's caregiver for 13 years and the transition to Memory Care was hardest decision of my life. The team at Spring Oak were understanding and supportive of me as well as Mom. It wasn't easy but it was right thing. Now she has round the clock loving, caring people ensuring she is safe. While it still hurts, after all directors were understanding of my concerns and met my numerous questions and concerns graciously, We are both settling in. I appreciate the warm hearted, professional care team that treat Mom like their own. This place and its people are truly a gem in a land of bleak options.

If I could give this community 6 stars, I would! I’ve attended several of their events, and they are always so fun, engaging, and well organized. The managers are all so friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, and the residents that I’ve interacted with are always cheerful and welcoming. The community is exceptionally clean and gives off a true family atmosphere. The apartments are also impressively spacious and well maintained.

I have been my mother’s caregiver for over 22 years. She lived with me up until June of 2024. I found Spring Oak through Senior Care Authority. The transition was very difficult for me, but, with time and observation of the staff, I began to realize the staff does care about the residents. Mom is in the memory care unit and has adjusted well. She participates in activities and enjoys going for a ride in the Spring Oak Bus. I would recommend Spring Oak for memory care - Caring Staff, great community environment, communication with family on a weekly basis, and as needed. The new management and increased staff have made All the difference in the overall experience. Great job! Keep up the good work!

I am so grateful for Spring Oak. My dad is a resident there and he is loved and taken care of very well. The staff go above and beyond, the facility is warm and open. Daily activities keep the residents engaged with the feeling of community. His room is spotless and clean. Everyone knows his name and he is surrounded by love and care!
