We are sooo fortunate to have a dedicated staff to help take care of us in these difficult times. Whether it is the food services team delivering meals and groceries to our doors, or the maintenance department manning the gates and taking temperatures of returning residents, or the dedicated medical staff, fitness staff and all other CM employees we Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. The people who work here are invariably friendly and helpful. When our garbage chopper jammed, a person showed up in about 5 minutes to fix it. Workers passing by wave hello from their carts. The waiters and waitresses do their best to make our dining experience pleasant even when I suspect they have their own concerns at home. During this pandemic everyone has gone the extra mile to ensure our safety and to keep us informed as to what is going on. I recommend Carolina Meadows with enthusiasm to anyone who might consider living here. The only problem is the long waiting list to get in.

My grandmother use to live here with her husband before passing, they are exceptional, however, when we came back for lunch after her funeral, the waitress taking our order was overly rude and condescending, I sure pray they do not treat our loved ones like they treated me and my family. We asked for hot chocolate and she was confused as to why we dated to ask for hot chocolate, shouted across the room asking if they had hit chocolate. I asked for a double expression and the same thing happened!. When all items were in the menu, she could have said I am not sure that's included today or let me check instead of rudely shouting across the room and making us feel like we were ignorant for asking for such things. Tonia was our server.

We moved to Carolina Meadows five weeks ago and congratulate ourselves every day on the decision we made. We are "young" (69 and 70), but we are also planners. We wanted to join a continuing care retirement community while we could take advantages of all the amenities and become part of a community that would sustain us in later years. I cannot say enough good things about the residents, the staff and the services to ever do them justice. All those wonderful aspects aside, what decided us on joining CM was the "equity advantage," by far the most advantageous of any financial model available locally. When we first arrived we asked ourselves, "Why does everyone seem so happy?" After about a week we realized that having made a sound financial decision and living in a beautiful place with every service one could want and amongst bright, engaged, interesting people made one feel very happy, indeed!

My parents purchased a villa about 15 years ago. They eventually transitioned to Assisted Living. After Dad passed away, Mom moved to The Green, and she is very content there. This was the BEST RETIREMENT DECISION THEY EVER MADE. I have visited them literally hundreds of times and each and every time the employees have been incredibly kind, caring and respectful. The residents there seem very worldly, and they appear to have educated palates. The food is outstanding, and fulfills the residents' needs and expectations. Five stars all day long!
