Horrible! Dirty! Incompetence! EXTREMELY UNDER STAFFED ! Overpriced as not all services advertised are implemented! GO ELSEWHERE!!!! 1 star is too good but ZERO isn't an option.

The reviews regarding Autumn Embers are deceiving, when this place was Carrington it was wonderful but since being sold off and taken over by Autumn Embers it's not the same. I would not recommend this facility

Thank you, Carrington Assisted Living staff for all the kindness and care you provided for my sister,Sherrie. She is doing well at Marla Vista, where she is able to interact more favorably with other residents and receive the guidance. She needs to express her own brand of helping others. She loves to dance and sing to the oldies.

My mother recently passed at Carrington. I must say it was the best last year she could have had. She had progressive vascular dementia and other health issues. But with the help of the wonderful manager and caregivers my mother was able to enjoy several months of JOY…whether it was coloring and painting or helping make banana bread or working in the yard…it was her home away from home. My dad joined her in March and the staff was wonderful with his transition as well as helping now with his grieving process. I would highly recommend this facility if you want a loving, homey and friendly environment for your family member. Thank you to you all!!

First off, they'll never be a perfect place for a loved one but home. Improvements are being made but slowly. It would be nice to replace the small outdoor area with a glass atrium.Plants, large bird cage, family sitting area, etcetera. More staff is much needed, especially at night. It states a spa, have yet to see it. More hands on activities. Some residents are not used to just sitting and doing nothing, being parked in front of the TV isn't an activity. There needs to be camera's down each hallway with monitors in office & staff room. There has been a few " escapees" due to staff being out of hearing of door alarms. They need more qualified staff with Dementia & Alzheimers training. These residents need almost constant care & observation. Families put a lot of trust into the employees with their loved ones who hopefully are doing their job out of caring for the elderly. Ask a lot of questions, what exactly the level of care entails to justify the cost. Cost is a factor to some. The ratio of CNA'S to resident is very good due to the # of residents vs a much larger facility. I wish it was more remote and had country views instead of a residential neighborhood. For now, out of 10, being the best, I'd give it a 5.PROMISED A NEW DECK BEFORE SUMMER, NEVER HAPPENED! PEELING PAINT, NAILS STICKING UP, BOARDS POPPING UP AND ROTTEN! CAN'T SIT OUT BACK IT'S SO NOISY YOU HAVE TO SHOUT! OWNERS DON'T CARE FOR RESIDENTS ONLY THEIR MONEY!
