CARRINGTON RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

Carrington Place is very well maintained and clean. The ability to order food off a menu if you don't like what's being served for that meal is amazing and greatly appreciated! The staff is attentive and caring and willing to work to meet my mother's needs.

The new director and DON need to be replaced. They are nasty and manipulative to residents and staff when they think no one is watching. There has been multiple complaints to State of KS end of last year, but nothing substantial was done. However, old director and DON was awesome and the staff is caring. Building itself is very nice. But the owners are seeking people with more money. Good luck.

My father lived in one of the cottages for 3 years and after that in the main building for several years, until he passed in Sept 2019. Carrington staff were kind and good to him beyond what words can convey. They truly loved and appreciated him and he knew it, as did I. He and I were very close, and it meant the world to me knowing he felt loved and was well taken care of there. Especially since I live 200 miles away and couldn’t be with him nearly as often as I would’ve liked. I was in close contact with nursing staff, his CNA’s and Med Aides, administration, and kitchen and maintenance staff over the years. They were not only aware of his physical and emotional health needs, and comfort preferences, but were efficient and proactive in seeing that things got done. From health care concerns right down to his nightly kitchen visit for a “nightcap” of orange sherbert😊 The facilities are attractive, clean, homey and well-maintained, including the grounds. This review is given with complete sincerity. My family and I are so very grateful to you all at Carrington for living your mission as you do. Thank you!

It is the best place for my mom .. they are always friendly and the staff is wonderful. They have lots of fun activities for them to do..,
