Carter house is amazing. The staff is the best. The care level for the patients is fantastic. It is like they are in their own home. It is clean. Teresa the owner is very committed to the people who reside there and their families. We have never had any issues with my moms care. I would highly reccomend Carter house to anyone looking to place a loved one. The staff and Teresa are like family.

My father was truly in the best hands at the Carter House. Before coming here, he was in a memory care facility where his needs weren’t fully met. Moving him to the Carter House was the best decision we could have made for his well-being. From the moment he arrived, I no longer had to worry—these wonderful ladies cared for him with such compassion and attentiveness. He came alive in their care, even beginning to speak again—though not always clearly, it was a beautiful sign of life returning to him. What meant the most was how they took the time to truly know him as a person, even as he faced the final stages of dementia. They made his last months full of warmth, dignity, and happiness. If I could go back, I would have moved him there much sooner. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all the Carter House Ladies for being there for my father when he needed it most.
