Cates Family Care Home

My Dad lived at Cates Family Care Home over the summer and autumn of 2025 after suffering a severe stroke. My family and I can't praise the Home, Administrator, and Carers there enough. I will ever be grateful for they're exceptional kindness, sincere concern, and their knowledge in caring for the elderly. My Dad called it "million dollar treatment". Every resident can engage in gentle exercise twice a week, and musical entertainment once a week. The meals served, aim to avail the residents with the food they enjoy and are accustomed to eating; a custom menu. I visited my Dad every day and the house was always spotless. If you are considering Assisted Living or can consider a Family Home Care residence for your your loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Cates Family Care Home. Donna H.

I was amazed at how lovely Cates Family Care Home is. It is bright, cheerful and decorated beautifully. The staff, especially, Maud, take excellent care of the residents. They are attentive happy people. My family member was delighted with staying there. The food is great, too. Overall, recovery from illness or injury couldn’t happen in a nicer setting.
