When you walk inside you feel it; an atmosphere or spirit of brightness and hope. Lovely courtyard, screened in porch, dining room tables are set with cloth napkins, lots and lots of activities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most of all, the residents are lively and welcoming to new residents.

My now 94 yr old Mom has been living at Cedar Crest for a year and 1/2. Have been pleased and grateful for the loving care and kindness I have witnessed from the director Quintin to the P/T group, aids, maintenance and custodial folks. I have lived here for nine years and it has really changed for the better. We have a lot of men and women. We have a great resident council. We have an activity director that is GREAT and funny. We do karaoke and Sundays, they have a sermon with praise songs. The food is fantastic! We have a lot of activities and socials. We go out walking and we have a big patio that we can sit out on and drink lemonade in the evenings. Overall, I would give it an 8 because there’s always room for improvement!

I am currently searching for a new home for a loved one. It is extremely important that it is organized and well maintained. It is also important that the staff members are caring, patient and knowledgeable. It takes a person with a special heart to care for Seniors and children. Sandy Rasberry has done a great job convincing me that Cedar Crest is the answer to my prayers.

My mom has lived here for 3 years. I recommend it because it is always clean, the people who work there are very caring and compassionate. The food is not that great but ok. They try to have fun activities and are good about handing out medications. You can always find some thhing to criticize about senior facilities, but on the whole elmcroft does a very good job.
