CEDAR CREST OF LEWISVILLE

We had just gone through a traumatic event (at another facility) for my mother in law and needed a place pretty quick. From the moment l walked in Cedarcrest of Lewisville (without an appointment) I was very impressed with the staff. Stephanie (the first person you see here) is an amazing receptionist and was so friendly and made me feel very welcomed and at ease. She even helped put together a shelf for my mother in law! Gabby gave me a tour and assured me that we would be taken care of. She has such an outgoing personality and is perfect for her job and is very good it. She expedited the process for us which put us at ease. We really love the director Allen. He really runs a phenomenal facility and made us feel very safe. He went way out of his way to accommodate our situation. What a great director! Katherine is in charge of activities and special events for the residents. She is so good at her job. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and is so excited about her job, it really shows! She personally goes to my mother in laws room to invite her to the events in the center. To get her involved in making friends. This place is very organized from the medication techs as well as the chef and custodians are phenomenal. I feel so safe leaving our loved one here.

I was looking for an assisted living community near me to move my mom closer to us from the Houston area. She had been in skilled nursing and was released sooner than expected. Thankfully, I had already toured several communities and had chosen Cedar Crest because of their residential location, one story property and completely renovated, light and bright building. Sandy and Sloan took into consideration my moms medical needs and budget constraints in providing just the right apartment and care plan tailored for her. They made this otherwise stressful move as smooth and easy as possible. I’m excited for my mom to meet new friends and join in on all the activities that Cedar Crest has to offer.

The Community Services Director Sandy Rasberry was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond to make the transition for my Mom from independent living to assisted extremely smooth and thoughtful. Sandy even took personal time to visit my Mom at the skilled nursing facility prior to her making the transition- again, amazing. The entire facility has been recently remodeled (looks great) and I felt very comfortable with the quality of care they would provide for my Mom while still letting her maintain a high level of freedom and independence. Your loved one will definitely be safe which was our greatest concern going in as my Mom is a high fall risk.

The staff of Cedar Crest is so attentive to the patients that they care for. As a hospice administrator I always want to be able to assure the families that we place in assisted living facilities that the care their loved one will receive will be excellent, Cedar Crest does not disappoint. Allen Little, the Executive Director, makes sure his staff is informed about the details of each patient and family. Sandy Raspberry, meets each family with a warm smile and makes sure each patient feels right at home. Erick Collins the facility Wellness Director assesses each patients clinical needs and makes sure they are addressed in a timely fashion. I can't say enough about this team. They are getting it right!!!

Sandy Rasberry was very helpful and provided wonderful guidance when we made the decision to move my mother-in-law to Cedar Crest. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful! The nurses Eric and Allen are very knowledgeable and I trust the care they provide. I high recommend Cedar Crest. The facility is very clean and well organized. My mother-in-law recently moved in and is very happy being at Cedar Crest!
