From the moment I walked in, Cedarbrook felt more like a beautiful hotel than a typical assisted living or senior community. The staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and the entire building is thoughtfully designed and well maintained. After my tour, I genuinely felt this is a place I would feel confident and comfortable bringing my own family.

I visited Cedarbrook for the first time and was so impressed. The staff was warm and welcoming. The building is beautiful and also feels comfortable and accessible. I was able to speak with a resident who has lived there for years and has had a very positive experience. The courtyard is absolutely stunning. The food and menu choices are excellent, and I got to meet head chef Stephanie while was there. I love the variety of activities and enrichment that they offer. There was a professional piano player playing carols on the grand piano as I was leaving, and a large crowd had gathered to listen. It was so lovely that I wanted to stay! Finally, meeting Lisa and Crystal and seeing how dedicated they are to fostering an engaged community really showed Cedarbrook's commitment to detail and making sure that residents are living life to the fullest every day.

I visited a family friend at Cedarbrook today. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Especially the front desk team that welcomes every visitor with a smile and kind word. Jennifer, Karen, Kim and Megan are all very pleasant and obviously enjoy their jobs. This is a happy place.

Exceptional Care at Cedarbrook Senior Living – Highly Recommended My wife stayed at Cedarbrook Senior Living of Bloomfield Hills from January 2025 to February 2025, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and attention she received. From the very beginning, I met with Dena (Executive Director) and Tatiana (Head Nurse) to discuss my goals for my wife's care. They took the time to listen, understand, and ensure that every request was fully met. My wife had ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), which required specialized care, and the staff at Cedarbrook provided it with compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. The caregivers were attentive, kind, and always available when needed. Knowing that my wife was in such capable hands gave me great peace of mind. If you are looking for a senior living facility that truly prioritizes the well-being of its residents, I highly recommend Cedarbrook Senior Living of Bloomfield Hills.

My mom has lived here for 4 years. I’ve been happy with the care she’s received overall, and when I wasn’t, I felt that the staff listened to my concerns, addressed them, and kept up communication with me. Recently I was not happy with a new staff member regarding her decisions. We exchanged viewpoints, but got nowhere. I contacted Deena, the Executive Director, in the early morning around 6 a.m. That same staff member and I disagreed a few days later, and I contacted Amber at 6:45 a.m. Both answered their cell phones, listened to my concerns, and addressed them with that staff member right away (I can’t think of another senior facility where that would happen. ). By the way, that staff member is no longer working there. Tationa, the Director of Nursing, followed up with me that day, too. Amenities are phenomenal there. They have a movie theater in house; a cafe for residents, family, & guests; a pub where monthly socials are held; arts & crafts; monthly outings to restaurants; concerts, and so much more. Are there some things there that can be improved upon? Yes. Do they identify problems and do their best to rectify them? Yes, I believe so. My mom likes Cedarbrook, and I’m happy with the staff throughout the building, including the nursing staff.
