This place has the most unprofessional women I have ever seen in MY life. Some of the caregivers are great!! It’s ashame a few of them makes a business look bad and these unprofessional ladies don’t care about my mom falling or anything and they have their picks on who they will help more. They are rude!! The nurses are great!! I regret having my mom here cause now she is worse and I feel like one lady might be the death of my mom!! They already fired a lady who stood and watched my mom fall. They act like they are in the streets sometimes around the older folks!! This review isn’t just for me!!

Our mother has been a resident at Addington Place since May 2024. The very friendly helpful staff made the transition go very smoothly. We can’t Thank the caregivers enough on how she is treated & cared for with constant updates about her involvement with activities & daily routines. Addington is highly recommended by our family with care, apartment, activities & meals!!

We moved Mom into Addington in Dec. 2023 shortly after the passing of my father. Mom was not in very good place physically and emotionally at that time. But since then, she as thrived. She loves the staff and has made many friends. Our family could not be more pleased. I am 100% sure Addington was the choice.

Not worth the money, the headache and the uncertainty of my family members health and well-being in the Memory Center. Within the 3 months my family member was in this facility, They went through two head nurses and a financial assistant, and a few nurses. Not all but some of the caregivers there wanted to rule the roost they insisted they knew my family member was verbal, like they know them better than me the daughter, and we’ve been living with this family member all our life, over 50 years with the last 12 years they lived with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Keep in mind these caregivers are not medically trained. Had to speak with the Director, many times about the uncleanliness of the room, we paid good money for and rudeness of some of the caregivers. And by the way, if you pay for whoever they send from another state or another part of the state to take care of their toenails, because the have diabetes make sure they did the job!

Moving my parents out of their home of 60 years was an incredibly difficult experience, made possible only by the kindness, professionalism, and energetic staff of Cedarhurst in Collinsville. The facility is bright and cheery, always well kept with staff willing to listen and improve on issues when there is a concern. Patience and love is demonstrated in every situation I have observed, from meals and personal care to planning personal events for my parents. One can feel a sense of family and commitment the moment you walk into the lovely entrance. Janet, Kari, and Sonny are always smiling, and watching out for their residents, even when things are busy. Nurse Beth is so patient and respectful. All the staff I have met are vested in all aspects of the well-being of their residents, willing to do whatever is needed.
