Cedars The

It was a Saturday afternoon, and my mother had been released from the nursing home that morning. We were now responsible for giving her Heparin shots. The trouble was, neither of us could get the drug out of the vial and into the syringe; it is not easy for rookies. Through a local pharmacist, we learned about pre-loaded syringes, but we couldn't get a prescription until Monday. We went back to the nursing home, where one "angel" nurse came to our rescue. Not only did she come out into the frigid cold to give my mother the shot, but she also called the pharmacy to secure enough pre-filled syringes to last through the weekend and into the next week. That is going above and beyond the call of duty to help a patient. Keep up the great work!

It saddens me read negative reviews about the Cedars. My husband was there for over two years and never did I feel he was neglected or treated poorly.

This was a terrible place for my family member . So much neglect . You had to hunt an employee down for questions and help on a regular basis for her . She had multiple falls there that put her in the hospital , which caused her pain & suffering . Had to ask them to help her with her meals as she wasn't able to feed herself . They'd set her food down and walk away and wonder why she didn't eat . We had to request them to shower her as she couldn't do it herself . I wouldn't give this place any stars but had to put at least one in to review it.

Both parents were there and the care and compassion are second to none. Wonderful CNA staff! Not a fancy place but we tried a fancy place and our parents were grossly neglected. The Cedars has there heart in the right place!

The employees here care more about their drama more than their residents. If you don't fit in with their "Christian environment" you are exiled by everyone and bullied. THIS PLACE IS A HELL HOLE
