CHANATE CARE HOME

It took awhile for us to come to terms with our elderly parent needing to be in a "home". She wasn't ready for assisted living but wasn't able to live in her own place. The hybrid situation offered by Brookdale is perfect! Her apartment is adorable. She has been there six months now and couldn't be happier! They make sure she is included on the regular outings; everyone says "hi" by name when we pass; she eats well and enjoys the social scene of the dining room; they put her hearing aids in for her each morning and out each evening. She is enjoying life! The staff is wonderful. We are so fortunate to have her loving life at Brookdale. I'm disappointed we struggled for two years deciding whether she should move in. Normally, she is quite clingy with her son (my husband) but yesterday told him not to visit as she had plans to go to San Rafael and wouldn't be home!

We love working with Brookdale in finding just the right new home for my clients. Whether they need Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care!! Our client's feedback is a big "THANK YOU" and their expectations are blown away!!! Of course, working with Karin Berry is so awesome, because I trust she never oversells services and treats my clients exceptionally well. 10-stars given!!!

beautiful place spread over several levels. Food and entertainments. Staff very concerned about their residents. Made me feel welcome when I assisted in a driver safety class there.
