Chapel Hill Assisted Living, Llc

New company took over a month ago. My mom had since had major leak in her room. Phone service has been intermittent for past month. I can’t call my mom. I called and escalated to a contact and he blew me off and hung up on me. This new company is horrible. All I ask is is please allow me to speak to my mom. Are profits more important than people attempting to speak to their parents Beware of new company that just took over

Nice facility but daily care is not great in assisted living section. My brother does not get his medications at the appropriate time. His bed sheets and personal needs are not checked. The employees sit around and play on their phones most of the time.

Poorly maintained. Food is ok but that is all. Been visiting weekly for a year. Never once do i recall both elevators working. Cleaning staff doesnt really clean, they stop by to chat. Forget about them taking the trash out. Feel very sorry for man I visit. Hopefully they do a better job in assisted than independent.

Been here 3 1/2 years and definitely made the right choice after researching about 20 places and narrowing it down to 4. I love the option of Independent Living cottages; great particularly having a dog, and loving having my own washer & dryer. The staff is very friendly and receptive to resident needs. Very friendly residents providing a family atmosphere. Also like having the Resident Council which offers resident run Committees where you have the ability to feel a part of decisions and changes.

We moved our parents to Heartlands of Ellicott city six years ago and this was one of the best decisions we ever made. Unfortunately my father passed away a year later but they allowed him to pass with dignity there. My mother continues to be a resident at Heartlands and the care that she receives is extraordinary and stellar. The love and encouragement and emotional support that she receives from all the staff is beyond our wildest dreams. Everyone has always been so helpful to us and understanding of of any situation that might occur. We highly recommend this facility for anyone that might be considering an assisted living for their loved one.
