Charter Senior Living at Bay City 1

Our father, John, spent the final six months of his life at Charter Senior Living in Bay City, and we could not be more grateful for the care he received. From the very beginning, the staff treated him—and our entire family—with compassion, dignity, and genuine kindness. We were never made to feel like just another resident passing through; instead, we truly felt welcomed as part of the Charter family. During an incredibly difficult time, their support, attentiveness, and heartfelt care meant more to us than words can express. We will always be thankful for the incredible team at Charter Senior Living Bay City.

This is the first place to look when it comes time to place a loved one that needs additional care that you can't provide. The ENTIRE staff is exceptional at what they do and that is care for your loved one!! All care facilities are not the same, Charter stands above the rest! If you are looking for THAT place for your loved one, it's Charter Senior Living. You should at the very least check them out for a tour. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My parents lived at Charter Senior Living in Bay City for approximately five years. In the five years I have never once been disappointed with the staff, food, or facility. My mom passed a few years ago so my dad lived there by himself. He suffered from dementia and they were well equipped and educated to manage my father's lack of mobility and disease. Prior to severe dementia I asked my dad numerous times if he wanted to move to our place. He always said no as he was happy there. I highly recommend that you take a close look at this facility if you are looking for a safe and well managed home for your loved one.

I have a therapy dog that has visited at Charter twice a month for the last 3 years. The residents seem to be very happy there. Rachel keeps them very engaged with all kinds of arts, crafts, events and outings. The building is clean and decorated very tastefully. The dining room is very inviting with nice decorations. I cant comment on the food. Nobody has ever complained to me about the menu. I would definitely feel good about letting a loved one live here.

My grandma lives in this community and she’s absolutely had the best experience. It was a hard transition from independently living in a house to assisted living but now she calls Charter home instead. The staff is so attentive and caring. She always feels safe! Sondra (the executive director) was so helpful during this process. She made sure to personally check in on my grandma to assure she had everything she needed. Andrea (the nurse) has personalized care so that she’s getting the best of everything. I would recommend your loved ones staying with Charter!
