CHARTER SENIOR LIVING AT SOUTHERN PINES

Immediately, I was greeted like an old friend. That warmed my heart. Unlike other senior living properties, Southern Pines felt like home. Good location, pleasant surroundings and great activities for the residents. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and professional. Looking around for my mother, and Southern Pines has just shot to my list.

I visited with a friend recently. The facility was clean. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. My friend is enjoying her new apartment. It's clean and spacious and she feels safe and cared for. Grounds are nice. Lots of activities and good food.

When I was faced with the difficult decision to find a place for my husband I went everywhere in the area to find one that met my high standards. I showed up unannounced at each and every place. When I entered Southern Pines Memory Care facility the first thing I noticed was how clean the place smelled, I know that sounds odd but that’s first on my list. The next thing I noticed was how everyone spoke to me to see if they could help me with anything, I got a tour of the facility and fell in love with the place. They have a lovely porch area with a swing and fans to help to stay cool. Every one has their own room and they have laundry rooms on every corridor so they keep up with all the needs of their guests. They also have several larger rooms for festivities like chili cook off, Christmas parties, birthday parties and bingo. There is a large area in the center of the building with a large tv and many recliners and sitting areas. They have a huge dining area and the staff works together to make sure everyone is there to eat. The staff call all the residents by name and stop to chat and laugh with them. I can’t say enough about the staff at Southern Pines Memory Care. It has been a difficult time for me and my husband over the last 6 months and each and every person there from housekeeping to director has been available for any questions or issues. I especially want to say an extra thank you to Latoya for always being there for me and to his nurse Denisha for all her loving care and to Shondra and Terrica for looking out for my love. I believe God sent me to y’all and I wouldn’t change a thing, I love everybody there and feel blessed. Thank you

Mom was at Southern Pines for little over a year. She was well taken care of. They loved and cared for mom. No place is perfect, but the caregivers and Latoya were the best. I would highly recommend the memory care at SP. Mom passed in January and I still think I need to go visit her, then I think she’s with Jesus and is healed. I miss her ❤️

What a wonderful place. The place is clean, looks beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and caring. We were so pleased and comforted when we visited my Mother in Law. What a relief to know she is in a facility that is well kept with staff who really care. Thank you Southern Pines for letting us feel at ease knowing she is in your capable and caring hands.
