Charter Senior Living of Williamsburg

Staff and facility met or exceeded expectations although a message left for my mother on Thursday to expect me today appeared not to have been received. Given her cognitive issues, it’s possible she was told.

My sisters and I were terribly afraid of having my Father live in a home care situation. We looked at quite a few and decided on Charter. This was the best decision we have ever made! The staff feels like family, its extremely well kept, clean and he loves the food. It really is a second family. They have fun activities many times a month and know how to keep this place lively. We regularly visit a family member who resides in the memory care unit of Charter Assisted Living in Williamsburg, Virginia. We always leave very thankful that she is there. The facility is clean, and well- maintained, there are no odors often experienced in such facilities, and most importantly, the staff is amazing! They are patient, loving, and engaging! Well done!!

Charter Senior Living/Williamsburg has been a great home for my mom for the past 8 years. The staff is caring, kind and attentive to my mom. She feels very comfortable with them, which makes me happy. The kitchen and dining room teams are excellent, under the direction of Jamie Lewis. Activities Director Rose Segal is awesome. She's very attuned to the residents' needs and plans events that are fun and appropriate for them. I'm happy my mom is at Charter.

My mom is living here at this facility. The management has been very nice and helpful in her move and adjustment to a new place to live. The staff is over the top with assistance and just being kind to the elderly. There have been no complaints by my mom with the food and all the activities. This is a nice , clean place to call home.
