Chateau Of Batesville

I highly recommend the Chateau of Batesville. The staff is caring and are easy to talk to. Unfortunately, our family member had to move on, but we feel so lucky that she had two years at the Chateau.

A Great place for senior living!

A place where your loved ones get the care they need!

We made the hard decision to take my mom from independent living to assistant living thinking this would be a good fit for her. It was definitely NOT a good experience. Not all the staff, I have two that were very kind to my mother and our family. The others acted as if we were an imposition. They called me every day saying something negative about my mom, they were at times aggressive with her and we didn’t feel welcomed visiting her or taking her out most of the time. We even had one nurse verbally tell us if she’s not back from our family outing by 8 - she will not get her medications. They clearly did not want her there. She is now at a place that we have total freedom to come and go as we please, they love her and accept her and we love them. They make me feel like they will be my mom’s care givers and I can just focus on being her daughter. It took me years to make this review because I wanted to take my emotion out of it and give an honest opinion. My advice is to look around there are many places to choose from and take your time on making hard decisions for your loved ones, this one as pretty as it is may not be a good first choice.

The best healthcare facility anywhere around hands down! Upon touring, you will definitely get a feeling of home right away. The staff is amazing!!! The food is really good too!
