Carlton Senior Living has been a true blessing for our family. My 98-year-old father has been in their care, and the compassion, patience, and professionalism shown by the entire staff has exceeded every expectation. They treat him—and all the residents—with dignity, warmth, and genuine kindness. From the daily check-ins to the thoughtful activities that keep him engaged, it’s clear that the team truly cares about the wellbeing of their residents. The communication with our family has also been outstanding. I always feel informed, supported, and reassured that my father is in a safe, caring environment. I also want to extend a special thank-you to Amy Tet for her outstanding service. Her attentiveness, support, and genuine care have made a world of difference for my father and our entire family. We are deeply grateful for everything she has done. Knowing he is surrounded by people who truly care has given us tremendous peace of mind. My mom was welcomed into this wonderful community a few months ago and she is thriving. Everyone at Carlton is so friendly and she has truly everything she needs. We enjoy coming to visit, watching her say hello to so many people. She used to live alone and didn't have many friends that lived nearby. Carlton is clean, safe and has healthy meals prepared everyday. We are so grateful!

When my mom was first told she needed to move into a retirement home, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. She was determined to stay in her own house. But when the time came and we helped her move in, everything changed the moment she stepped through the door. Everyone—from the staff to the residents—was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Now, she tells me every single day that this was the best decision we ever made for her. If I could sum up the experience from her point of view, it feels like she’s living on a cruise. Everyone is happy, the staff is always eager to make life a little easier, and the activities seem endless. For us as a family, the peace of mind has been priceless. We no longer worry about her living alone or the possibility of her falling with no one there to help. We know she’s safe, cared for, and truly enjoying her life. I live in a different state and it would shock most people to know that the Carlton is considerably cheaper than most retirement homes, even in the same area when I was shopping for a place for mom.

The Carlton Pleasant Hill/Martinez has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely attentive—they take such good care of my mom, and it gives us so much peace of mind. Every time we visit, we’re met with warmth and professionalism. Most of all my mom is in a good mood and feel comfortable. The facilities are beautifully maintained, clean, and welcoming. Mom lived in Carlton Creekside the last 4 years of her long life. She started in the full suite, moving to a lovely ground studio for last year when she suffered severe effects of her neuro disease. The loving caring staff supported her, helped her and me through the most difficult days with true compassion, patience, and kindness. They loved her and her precious kitty Cleo every single day.
