Special kudos to the food services staff led by the wonderful Ms. Heather and to Mr. David Trainer, Administrative Services Coordinator, for all his assistance in any matter I required guidance with. These two wonderful people are professional, approachable, empathetic, caring, and supportive in ways that provide me peace, comfort and safety. My brothers and I were looking for a residence for our mother, and David Trainer, Admissions Coordinator, helped us out immensely. He was very professional, personable, and attentive to our needs. My sister is delighted to be living at Chatsworth Commons! When I talk to her on the phone, she is enthusiastic and comments on the genuine friendliness and care she receives from the staff as well as the delicious food. The sound of her voice now fills me with hope and peace that she has found her new home. I live over 2,000 miles away and finding a good home for my sister has been challenging. David T, my contact at Chatsworth Commons, is exceptional. He has always been kind, patient, and attentive, and he has skillfully led me through the placement process. I truly appreciate his thoughtfulness and the time he has taken to answer my many questions.

We had a terrible experience at Brookdale. Not because of the care - that was decent (nurses and caregivers really good) - but because of the sales and finance team. We requested a shared room and they fuddled the numbers saying they were giving us a single room at the double room rate and then proceeded to charge us for a single room. The accounting person there almost never replied to my emails and we were constantly being over charged. Also, when my mom couldn't arrive on the day we signed the contracts for, they wouldn't lower the rates even though she wasn't there. They still charged us full fare for three months. We were promised credits - that never happened. The head of the facility was rude. The wifi went out for over a month and they were still charged. If you have an active person, maybe this place is good, but double and triple check your contract before you sign and get it all in writing!
