CHELSEA AT SHREWSBURY, THE (NJ13A019)

The Chelsea started off just fine. Then it started going downhill rapidly. The help was constantly changing. There were probably 3 different directors. The memory care unit was sub par. The facility itself is beautiful but the care is NOT good.

My dad moved in here in December. He is on the memory care floor. It was a difficult decision for me to make but it is wonderful here. The Chelsea Shrewsbury takes excellent care of my dad. It is a beautiful building, the entire staff are caring and kind. It was the best decision I made for my dad’s quality of life. I highly recommend the Chelsea of Shrewsbury.

They are professionally staffed, with a Memory Care Unit should your loved one graduate to that level of need without having to change facilities. They gave my family and I peace of mind knowing our parents would live in a community of compassionate caregivers, surrounded by luxury and people dedicated to their careers🥰

This place is truly amazing. I can not find enough ways to express how grateful I am for the exceptional care that is given to my 95 year old mother, who lives at this Chelsea. The staff and management are outstanding professionals who love what they do. It takes special people to do this work. Everyone from the Executive Director on down show up everyday with a smile and a commitment to maintaining excellent care, along with compassion for every resident, even under the most difficult circumstances. During this unprecedented time of Covid-19, I could not be happier with the level of communication provided by the entire team. The icing on the cake is that this building is beautifully designed and decorated, there are many activities for the residents, if they desire to participate. The staff goes above and beyond to make this a truly enjoyable place for your loved one. Chelsea Shrewsbury is a beautiful community. The staff is professional and friendly. I am usually greeted with a smile and I find that the nurses and administrative staff are always willing to help me. The activities coordinators are awesome, especially during the quarantine with making residents feel special and well cared for. Nicole goes above and beyond to make sure the building runs smoothly while exemplifying professional leadership skills with compassion and positivity.
