Christwood Retirement Community - Level 3

Christwood Retirement Community in Covington is such a wonderful place. One thing that really stands out is their program that allows residents to stay part of the community even as their needs change over time — that kind of peace of mind means so much. The campus and buildings are always clean and well cared for, and the recent upgrades are beautiful. Everything feels fresh and welcoming. What we love most is how many activities they offer throughout the year. They truly care about their residents and do a great job keeping everyone involved and connected. It really feels like a community, not just a place to live. Oh, and the best part is the multiple dining options that are always delicious!

If I could rate it a zero..most definitely would. Granted my loved one didn’t make it through the doors because the tour we went on was pure AWFUL!!!! Don’t be fooled by the photos or the videos. Beds are for about the size of a teenager..rooms are tiny..it’s not a very welcoming place..and the jewel Tammy who gave us the tour was in a big hurry wasn’t sympathetic to our situation and was speaking down to us…definitely not a person who needs to be in charge of anything. I wouldn’t leave my worst enemy there!!!

Christwood is a state of the art facility all around the board. Treats everyone with respect. Do not regret anything.

Christwood is more than extended care - it’s an extended family. The staff is so attentive and truly cares for the residents. There is ALWAYS something to do with various events each week: concerts, art classes, church, card games, happy hour, puzzle tables, line dancing, pickleball, and the list goes on. If you want to see your parents thrive and make new friends, Christwood is the place to go!

I’ve been consistently impressed by the variety of activities and social opportunities available for residents. Whether it’s fitness classes, art workshops, or the enriching cultural programs, there’s always something engaging happening. The on-site dining is fantastic—high-quality meals that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. The grounds are immaculate, and it’s so refreshing to have access to walking paths, gardens, and lovely common areas to enjoy with family and friends. I also appreciate the convenience of the transportation services offered, making it easy to run errands or attend events off-site. The staff at Christwood go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcomed and supported. It’s a true community, filled with warm, friendly people. I can't recommend Christwood highly enough for anyone seeking a vibrant, independent lifestyle in a beautiful, caring environment.
