Opting to move our grandparents from Louisville, KY to Sellersburg, IN at the age of 93 was not an easy decision, but it truly was the right one to have them closer to family. Kathy and her team made the entire process so much easier and put our minds at ease every step of the way. Traditions at Hunter Station is a beautiful community with a wide variety of activities that keep residents engaged and active. The patio homes are incredibly spacious and absolutely beautiful. One of the biggest highlights for our family has been the restaurant-style dining experience; a wonderful change from cafeteria-style dining where residents are required to carry trays. The dining room staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, especially Cam, who always goes above and beyond. We are so grateful for the care, environment, and peace of mind this community has provided our family.

We are so very happy with Traditions. One of my favorite things is the staff knows EVERY SINGLE resident! Every time you pass a staff member in the hallway, they stop and speak with you. They take the time to help if you need it, or chat with you. My parents especially enjoy the staff in the dining hall. They joke around and laugh with the residents. Mealtime is a pleasure. They are attentive to the wishes of my parents and to the visitors as well. Traditions is safe, reliable, clean, beautiful, and helpful at this stage of my parents’ lives. We are so thankful for all the staff has done for our family.

While making the transition itself was difficult, I love having my grandparents close by. Traditions helped with that process immensely. The staff are amazing; they are always very helpful and sincere. They show genuine care and compassion for their residents and their loved ones. I love how clean and lively things are, every time we go to visit there is something new going on. I love that my grandparents now have a community to grow with as they age, that still allows them a great amount of flexibility and independence.

The staff at Traditions at Hunter Station is amazing! The staff calls everyone by their first name, they are very friendly, helpful, kind, caring, etc. My mom has lived there over a month and loves it there. She has made so many new friends. The food is good. The staff takes them different places, has different activities for them to do and is very active with those who live at the facility. I highly recommend Traditions at Hunter Station. Thank you to the amazing staff. You all are awesome!

My mom has lived here for a full year now. It took a few visits to the facility to convince her that Traditions at Hunter station would better suit her than sitting at home in front of the tv all day. It took about a month for her to get used to living here, but as she made a few friends and joined in on the activities she was hooked. She has told friends, family, strangers and her doctor that this was the best decision to live here that she has ever made. The food is good and the Chef includes ideas from the residents for a bigger variety in the menu. Traditions has a large garden area, library, movie theater and several other areas to enjoy activities for the residents and families. Come and check it out, you will be glad you did! I almost forgot, but each apartment has their own little area that can be decorated. It’s fun to walk around and see how everyone has their space decorated.
