CLEARWATER NEWPORT BEACH

I was disappointed with my experience at clearwater Living. The caregivers seemed inadequately trained and often did not perform their duties well. Additionally, the kitchen’s cleanliness and food handling practices were concerning, as servers did not wear gloves while touching food. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a better environment for residents especially if they are paying a lot of money for poor treatment.

Everything about Clearwater was and is amazing. We had to move quickly to get my Mom into assisted living and the staff making this happen were helpful, enthusiastic, really understanding and super nice. They helped from start to finish and continue to help and guide me and my Mom while she settles in. The facilities are really comfortable, new and very pleasant, with many daily activity options available, but also places to just hang out, chat and catch up with staff and other residents. The décor makes it easy to be at Clearwater and makes my time with my Mom that much more enjoyable. Her room is very functional and there is a gym and physical therapy program on site, as well as a movie theatre and other services like a salon. The nursing staff are really helpful and caring and very focused on the wellbeing of the residents no matter the situation. The activity staff are the best and make sure the residents are busy (if they want to be), engaged, entertained and enjoying themselves to the fullest. The food is excellent with many options throughout the day and into the evening with options to order and take things back to your room or eat in the café or restaurant with other residents. The restaurant staff are also amazing, caring and supportive and make sure your order is right! We couldn’t ask for a better place for my Mom to thrive while she gets better and stronger. If you are thinking of a place like Clearwater for yourself or a family member, I really recommend you check it out as I’m sure you will love it as much as my Mom and I do!

The staff at Clearwater Living are absolutely amazing. The onsite team is professional and extremely helpful. Kaylee Higgins & Move In Coordinator is a pleasure to work with. She provided me with a great tour of their beautiful community and explained all the premiere features they offer their residents. I would highly recommend this community as your future home.

Clearwater will always have a dear spot in my heart. My mother was forced to go into assisted living after a fall in April 2024, after living totally independently for 89 years. We chose Clearwater because of several reasons; the facilities were immaculate, the staff professional and friendly, and the proximity to her doctors and friends. It was a big adjustment, but the staff at Clearwater made it comfortable and painless. Unfortunately, my mother fell again after only six months at Clearwater and was not able to recover this time. I know my mother's last months and days were happy ones and for that I will always be thankful to the staff at Clearwater. Thank you to all that made my mother feel comfortable, safe and welcome. Our father moved into Clearwater Newport Beach about a month ago. We could not be happier with everything! The residents and the staff are incredibly nice and professional. The food and the activities are incredible and our dad is very happy there. It has been an effortless transition thanks to the team at Clearwater.
