We placed my mother in the care of the team at Clement Manor in March of 2025 and are so grateful for the dedicated support she received during her time there. From the tour, through to all of our subsequent visits to her there, the staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. She suffered from late stage Dementia and Parkinson's and they kept her safe, nourished, comfortable, and well groomed, and were highly communicative at all stages of her journey, always making my father - her primary caregiver prior to this - a partner in decisions. We could not have asked for more and are so grateful to the heroic team members who manage such a difficult job with grace, kindness, and superior care. She passed peacefully in November, and thoughtful communications from the staff, as well as Allay Hospice, have continued. My family cannot say enough good things about Clement Manor, and how they helped to make a difficult situation so much more bearable. We will always be thankful for the incredible work that goes on here in support of beloved family members.

My Dad stayed at Clement Manor for about 6 weeks in April-May 2025. We needed to find a place quickly given the personal situation and they fortunately had a place available. Everyone in the administration and everyone that worked there was tremendously helpful. They were kind, compassionate, and provided thoughtful and quality care. We moved my Dad to a location closer to my brother in Illinois but we are absolutely thankful and appreciative for the service that they provided to my Dad while he was there.

A great place to live or work. There is a strong sense of community here. Staff really care about doing things the safe and right way, not just the easy way. The facility is really beautiful and well-maintained.

Awful—I wish I could give zero stars. Many incidents occurred here that, in hindsight, I wish we had reported to the state. Admin, on the whole, was bloated, incompetent, apathetic, and ineffectual. They were more interested in marketing the facility than improving resident care. If you truly care about the wellbeing of your loved one do not place them in any area of Clement Manor’s campus. All of the other negative reviews are completely accurate and echo my own long-term personal experience with this facility.

I have been at Clement Manor for over eight years. I came from Bayfield, WI after my husband died. I was there to take care of him, but my kids are in Milwaukee, Chicago and Maryland. I left our beautiful house on our apple orchard on the shores of Lake Superior and moved to a very comfortable apartment here. I appreciate the privacy I have if I choose to hunker down in the evening; no one pressures me to go to the many events offered. When I was told of classes offered, I was sure I was perfectly fine with my MA in English Literature and didn’t need more classes. Then the catalog came and it was filled with classes that interested me: jazz appreciation, many history classes, surveys of our geographical area and on and on. As far as I know, only Clement Manor has an Enrichment Center with a year round feature of offerings for almost any interest. When I first looked at Clement Manor, I was shepherded by Kim who said she had been here for more than 10 years. I thought if they could keep such a fabulous person for so long it must be a healthy place. And that is the case: staff stays for ages, sometimes moving in their positions, and their attitudes are consistently positive toward the residents. From Maintenance to the COO, I have never been disappointed in a response to any request. Residents are also a delight. I joke that I think Kim makes sure she gives us mentally healthy people as our new neighbors!
