One of the reasons I chose it was the home itself - immaculately clean, thoughtfully updated, and filled with a calm and peaceful vibe - along with its convenient location near downtown Murrieta. The location is quiet and slightly rural, yet still conveniently close to town, and the 24/7 care was essential for us. Although the owner, Jonah Su, is relatively young, don’t let his age mislead you. He is more professional, mature, and compassionate than many people twice his age. The fact that he is also a pharmacist was an added bonus for me. Some may assume that would mean a tendency toward over-medication, but it’s actually the opposite - I believe his philosophy is “less is more,” with a strong focus on thoughtful and individualized care. During my many weekly visits, Coastal Haven was consistently spotless, and the home-cooked meals were both healthy and genuinely enjoyable. Jonah and his team take the time to truly know each resident and create personalized care plans. When my mom began losing her appetite, they asked about her comfort foods and even prepared traditional Japanese dishes for her - an incredible and deeply touching gesture. I highly recommend Coastal Haven Living. They provided truly premier assisted living care for my mom, and I am deeply grateful for the compassion, dignity, and attention they showed her every day.
