My Mom was a resident here for about 2 months. She left on Jan 11 to go to hospital emergency when I was told by my daughter that her temp was 103* and she was unresponsive. We had been asking to get her help on 4 different occasions and were told to wait until Monday. She looked very bad when I seen her compared to when I had seen her on the 8th. Her arms were bandaged up, there was redness around her right eye. I was not told of any new injuries, but she had them. When she was at Er, they found she had a lot of pain in her arms, cellulitis, sepsis, pneumonia and an infection that was very bad. Her kidneys were very much threatened. They put her on a strong antibiotic for 24 hours, and found that the infection progressed to her entire body. We had to make the decision to let her pass. Shame on the ones who did not take care of this beautiful woman!

If I could give this place a zero, I would. My great grandma lived here for a short period of time. She had a very deep laceration on her hand that ended up getting infected, and that’s what send her out of the facility to the hospital. Their medtechs also think it’s okay to leave medications unattended in the room after they had already been popped. There was a pill on a chair, and then the rest of her pills on the ground. Please re think before you send your loved ones here !!!

I joined my mom for the Prime Rib Wine Dinner. Favorite was the Bananas Foster show by Chef Eric, and then I came back for the Monster Menu during Halloween. Who knew zombie brains would taste so good? At this place there is always so much to do, and eat. We try to have lunch at least weekly and it’s always delicious.

My mom has dementia and my dad had a hard time knowing when it was the right time. Once he fell and ended up in the hospital, we knew mom needed more care. From the start of the process, it was clear and we felt such a relief. Now when we visit, we have to check her schedule or risk being asked to come back after her ladies card games! It’s such a relief to know she’s safe and know dad is able to take care of himself and continue in his retirement. He also visits for lunch daily and he’s never been charged for a meal
