I was so happy when I found a place that I was confident in to take care of my father. He has loved the place, and the staff is always prompt, helpful, and very sincere. Hands down to Colonial gardens and specifically Opaal. Her experience and expertise in health care are unmatched. I appreciate everything and couldn’t go through these last months without y’all! Colonial Gardens stands apart by having great staff and being super responsive. They will bend over backward to find ways to help, and are able to assist with great . Anytime I have anything that comes up, I know Opaal and Nikki will jump right into help. This is a wonderful assisted living that you can count on for great care.

If you are looking for a small Memory Care Community with an open floor plan, so that your loved ones can walk freely, or are searching for a place with amazing gardens then Colonial Gardens is the place for you. Opaal is the Executive Director and she without a doubt has my seal of approval. She is beyond dedicated to her residents and staff. She has been there for years and puts her heart and soul into job. She cares for her residents like they are her own family. As I have learned over the years everywhere you go has it positives and negatives, no place is perfect, but when you find a place that is ran by someone who gives it their all; then you know it can be trusted. One of the houses has recently been remodeled and is beautiful. All the suites are private, and there is even a spa room with a jacuzzi tub. So if you are looking for a Community that feels like home, then I highly recommend Colonial Gardens.

This place treated my grandmother horrible! They were stealing her medication and refusing to care for her properly unless there were being monitored by professionals. The place is filthy and infested with roaches and bugs. The people working looked high off a drug and kept lying about the care that was supposed to be given to my loved one. They yelled and cursed at not only me but my grandmother as well. If you want your elders to live and be taken care of please DO NOT admit them here. If you have loved ones there now remove them IMMEDIATELY! I pray God exposes the evil in that facility and protects those that are being mistreated under their care.

We have had an exceptional experience with the staff at Colonial Gardens. From our first contact with the director to the recent passing of my mother-in-law, the staff was patient, attentive, caring, and responsive to our requests or inquiries. The facility is always clean--never a bad odor--which was not our experience with other facilities. Most residents are together during the day in common areas, watching TV, involved in games, puzzles, or crafts if they are able, and there are events for special occasions and often live music entertainment for the residents. We were very impressed with the lack of turnover of staff, too. We feel that this was the best place my mother-in-law could have been to spend her last days.
