My precious Dad lived at this facility. I could not have asked for a better place! They are all beyond kind and went over and beyond in his care! He loved the food and was very happy here! I give them 10 STARS!!! I highly recommend Columbia Cottage! Lots of activities to keep your loved ones busy and happy!!

Wow! So thankful for this team (led by Ms Heather) - heather shared with me tools to be successful of helping my mom (she has been living with us for 2 1/2 years). And ways of getting assistance with veterans benefits and what to expect. Thank you again.

I cannot say enough about Columbia Cottage in Florence. The staff was so good to my sweet Mom. Although she was only there for a short time before she passed away, they made us feel like family. I would highly recommend them and this facility. Erica, Heather and Melinda were amazing. The RA's that cared for my Mom were so sweet and caring. Truly a blessing.

Columbia Cottage is a Godsend. My (almost) 91-year-old Mom has been living at the Cottage for two months now, and went quickly from uncertainty about what to expect to absolutely loving everything about it. All the residents seem to love living there and all the staff seem to love working there. I could write a novel praising everything about the Cottage, but suffice it to say once more, Columbia Cottage is a Godsend. From the great food, to the exciting activities, to the efficient care provided, we are more satisfied than we could ever have imagined. What a blessing to our family Columbia Cottage is!

Columbia Cottage fit the bill for the needs of my loved ones. It was near the home they lived in all their married life, which was of great comfort to them. The staff of Columbia Cottage is welcoming, caring, kind, helpful, and loving. Each person has a job to do, and they do it, but I would say, even more, their jobs are callings to love the residents and make them feel they are home. An added bonus is the residents themselves. What very special people! They are the gracious neighbors and friends one longs to have next door. Is Columbia Cottage perfect? No, but neither are the homes of the residents! However, one could look far and wide and never find a better assisted living facility. The house and grounds are in a beautiful residential setting, and the front porch is a respite with a pretty view. Each day brings opportunities to participate in various activities including arts and crafts, puzzles, speakers, music, baking, field trips, and more. But if that is not of interest, residents can read, sleep late, visit, take a walk, take a nap and enjoy a low key day--just like home. All of us want to be in our homes. When that is no longer possible, Columbia Cottage is a heaven sent alternative.
