What a special place with amazing employees! My mother in law moved in about 7 months ago and we all are so grateful to all at Hampton Manor for enriching her life. She has a beautiful apartment with everything from laundry, cleaning and medication taken care off. She is busy all day with activities like exercise classes, group activities and entertainment thanks to Kelsey and staff. Every holiday is celebrated with parties and the most beautiful decorations. She also loves the quality of the delicious food and remarks about the cleanliness of the facility every time we visit. . Every employee we have encountered has a smile on their face and is so kind and loving to our mom from the front desk, kitchen staff, cleaning staff to the managers. It is great having a hair salon and movie theater right in the facility and having her doctors and her communion brought there by her church. We just wanted all to know about our positive experience with Hampton Manor of Commerce. Thank you for giving a resident’s family a great peace of mind.

I had an excellent stay while rehabilitating from my time in the hospital. There were food choices for each meal, including dessert for lunch and dinner, kind and courteous staff, OT and PT services, spacious rooms that were cleaned often, and a choice to order out if you had food allergies to a particular meal. I highly recommend Westlake for short-term care if needed. They do not disappoint. —- Ann G., Ph.D.

After a great deal of thought I have finally found the courage to make this review as it is my first time leaving a 1 star. It saddens me to know that some of last days my grandmother spent was at this facility. For starters, I did her laundry, bathed her, clothed her, changed her and beyond regularly. Services that were supposed to be provided by the staff. However, this didn’t come as a surprise after I was informed by an aid they had no proper training regarding the care of their residents. When I expressed my concerns to upper management I was told rent would be increased by $1,000 without notice or explanation. It seems Hampton Manor cares more about financial gain than maintaining the dignity these residents so desperately need and deserve. Overall, if you care about the well being of your loved one, I advise to look further.

These disgruntled employees sicken me. My grandmother has lived in this facility for over a year and although the management team is newer, they are doing an amazing job building this new facility. I would come in on weekends and see some employees lagging at their job, their morals, their work ethic was low, and the respect for the management and residents was not there. I couldn’t believe some of the stuff they would say. My concerns were brought to management and they addressed them immediately. These reviews show the disrespect and lack of knowledge the employees had. Assisted living facilities do not need a licensed nurse in their building. Commerce has a house doctor whose NP comes monthly and is in touch with the wellness team for the needs of the residents, including my grandmother. They have a Podiatrist, an eye and ear doctor with a Portable dentist.. all these things my grandma has used in this facility. The new administrator as been with the company since the grand opening and is well equipped to run the building. Their new operations manager was the supervisor of the building and physically cared for my grandmother on multiple occasions and went above and beyond for her. When I went in a few days ago, all I seen was new employees. They were cleaning, playing bingo, my gma was smiling and enjoying the festivities. The whole atmosphere has changed for the better and I see all the growth. The weekends have been so much better with the new faces. I love the changes and the new staff. Keep up the good work and keep loving my grandma. She loves you all too!

I think the new management and staff are doing a awesome job! If you get time go tour the community and see for yourself. My visit there I met the carestaff, management,chef, and maintenance . The whole team was welcoming and I would highly recommend. We can't wait for our loved one to to move in!
