Commonwealth Senior Living at Front Royal

Both of my parents have been at Commonwealth for about a month now, and they absolutely love it. My dad was a little apprehensive at first, but the staff went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and right at home. Shortly after moving in, my mom had to spend some time in the hospital, and the staff consistently checked in to see how she was doing and asked when she would be returning. Their genuine care and concern have meant so much to our family.

Our father, who is 98 years old, has lived at CSL for almost 3 years. He has received wonderful care and attention and has made many friends. We love the events planned for the residents. The office staff has always been welcoming and helpful to our needs. He is very happy at CSL and so are we!

My mother moved there this summer because it wasn’t safe for her to live alone. The staff are warm, cheerful and caring. Kudos to Jennifer Garnett and nursing staff! My mother loves the food. In fact she has increased some weight lost prior to coming to the Commonwealth! Three nice meals daily with snacks and fruit available in between meals. Great job Nutrition staff! She loves the activities and mini-trips. Not to leave anyone out of my message….All staff are cheerful and helpful.

This facility has been absolutely wonderful! The staff is caring, responsive and kind and they treat their residents with dignity and respect. Everyone knew my mom's name within days of her arrival and greet her by name every time they see her. It is a pleasure to visit the facility with all the smiling faces while knowing my mom is receiving wonderful care. Thanks to the many employees that make this like a home for mom!!

CSL Front Royal is an extraordinary, assisted living facility with an extraordinary staff. I had my mom there for a year, recovering from seizures. Sarah (head nurse) was extremely helpful with all health endeavors for my mother's care. Diane (director) was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional during admissions, with my mother's cost of care during the stay and at my mother's exit. Everyone from Dana at the front desk to chef Pat (who made my mom's favorite biscuits and gravy) were true caring individuals. (Oh, and I can't forget "D" who brought my mother's paper to her every morning and helped with her move in). In short, every member of the CSL staff in Front Royal were terrific and cared very deeply for my mother while she went through a difficult year. I highly recommend this facility and its staff to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care. It was a difficult time that turned into a great experience due to the great people at CSL Front Royal.
