Do Not put your loved one here!! My mother was a resident at Conifer House Memory Care for one year. During that time, she experienced severe neglect, medical mismanagement, and emotional harm. Despite our efforts to advocate for her, Conifer House repeatedly failed to provide basic care, communicate critical health updates, or uphold their responsibilities. They neglected to order her long-standing thyroid medication, contributing to her rapid decline. When questioned, staff provided false and contradictory explanations. No apology was ever offered—only attempts to deflect blame. We spent over $10,000 on living, care and hygiene supplies; yet my brother and I were frequently the ones feeding and changing her during visits. The facility was consistently understaffed and undertrained. Residents were left in unsafe conditions, and the Memory Care wing was visibly neglected—locked away, poorly maintained, and often foul-smelling. After a serious fall that required hospitalization one time, no one contacted me, my brother, or my husband (her emergency contact). Care meetings lacked substance and transparency, and when we requested documentation to transfer her out, we were told that some records had been shredded. This facility prioritizes profit over people. Their intake paperwork is designed to shield them from accountability. Their care practices are performative at best and dangerous at worst. I strongly urge families to reconsider placing loved ones here. Do Not put your loved ones here!

Making the decision to move my husband into a memory care facility was a very difficult and emotional decision. Conifer House has been great for my husband. He can join his friends for meals. The structured schedule has been really good for him. I also feel like the staff support me as well through this journey.

I moved my brother into Conifer House with much trepidation a month ago but I have been so impressed with their friendliness, professionalism, comprehensive care and genuine caring spirit. The place is clean and full of life. I trust the excellent care-givers and know that my brother is in the best possible place he can be now. I feel more at ease than I have in years. Thank you.
