I made the decision to send my mom to this place for assisted living. The assisted living part was amazing. great staff and rachel the manager of the assisted living was such a sweetheart and truly helpful in every way. My mom took a turn and was moved the the long term care unit. Unfortunately had to put her on comfort care. She passed a week ago at 132pm i was not notified until 538 pm. so my mother god rest her soul laid there for hours dead. When i asked if i could come say my goodbyes they had hurried and said the funeral home was already called. which they did not call until 630pm. The next day i went to grab a pair of clothes for her viewing. and they had already taken pictures and all of her belongings and packed them in trash bags. like she wasn’t even a person. I asked why and they said so maintance wouldn’t bother her things. i said give me time and they said they would put it in the office. that isn’t something a greifing daughter should have to worry about. I have been calling to see what happened that day and no one will return my calls nor give me answers. I would never send anyone that i love to the long term care unit there again. not even a follow up call to see how the family is doing.

My grandmother was admitted to copper ridge for rehab services and was there two nights before we pulled her out. She is better off recovering at home alone than in this place! My main issue is the neglect that she experienced. She needs help getting to the bathroom. Rather than assisting her, the staff at copper ridge advised her to go IN HER BED and that it would be taken care of later. This is completely unacceptable. She also was unable to get a good night’s rest. The patient she shared a room with was permitted to have the tv volume up late into the night, despite my grandmother’s request that it be turned down. Quiet hours need to be enforced to ensure everyone enjoys their right to a peaceful night’s rest. Lastly, my grandmother was served “ground meat” for breakfast - unidentified ground meat in an unidentified white sauce? She said she couldn’t stomach it. How are folks supposed to regain their strength and recover if they aren’t provided proper nutrition? If you want your loved ones treated with dignity, respect, and basic decency do NOT go to copper ridge for rehab services.

The nurse, Josephine is outstanding! My grandmother loves her. Josephine is kind and compassionate and obviously loves her job. What an asset to Copper Ridge and to the nursing field.

Everything is going well. My father in law has been here for about 3 weeks. Kelley was awesome at working with the social worker from the hospital and communicated super well with everyone. Dada has done an excellent job. Sara for speech therapy has been over the top in helping him. Nice place!
