Management is great and staff cares alot

About a year ago my Mother would was transferred to Copperleaf from a Nursing Home in Stevens Point she didn't choose to go to Copperleaf but was assured that they were going to be able to take care of her..When she arrived it was very clear they were not going to be able to care for My Mother the way she needed My Mother needed to be in a Skilled Nursing home which is full assistance.So My Mother was transferred to St Claire Hospital in Schofield we were told she would not go back and we needed to get her belongings.Well My Mother was in the Nursing home in Stevens Point for close to 8yrs she acquired a lot of belongings so we had to call a moving company.The night before they were able to go pick her belongings up we tried to get as much as we could and bring them to my home we were not able to get all of her stuff and we were told her stuff would be safe. The next morning I was called and told they were taking my Mothers belongings and putting them outside I tried to get the moving company to go early so none of her stuff would be damaged they were supposed to be there around 3pm I got them to go around 2pm..When I received her belongings she only had half of her belongings I called and Copperleaf was only able to locate her TV her Shelves her Fridge her AC and many other boxes that had sentimental belongings in like my brothers memorial boxes from his funeral were missing and Copperleaf said they didn't know where they went and were not going to make things right..My Mother trusted this Nursing home to make sure her and belongings were safe and they didn't. Shame on this place for making a bad situation even worse and in my eyes stealing from my mother I just reported this Facility

My experience with Copper Leaf Assisted Living has been good. Copper Leaf is the ideal size and lends itself to the feeling of a pleasant community with exceptional one on one care. The staff is professional, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They truly care about the well-being of the residents. Copper Leaf publishes a monthly calendar with plenty of activities to keep everyone active, social and spiritually. The rooms are private and quiet, allowing for peace of mind. There are plenty of trails to go for walks on and get outside. My father has been at Copper Leaf almost 2 years and enjoys watching the birds coming to his numerous feeders and the views of the outdoors. If we have any questions or concerns, the staff responds quickly and thoroughly.

My family have relocated our mother to Copperleaf in Schofield and cannot be more pleased with the facility, Trish and her staff. Thank you for watching over mom!
