I want to thank the country cottage staff for being absolutely amazing! My mother was part of their family... and I do mean family. Not one time did they treat her like anything else. The entire staff is amazing! Unfortunately, my mother has passed away, but that does not mean that this family leaves my life either. Thank you all for everything you have done and you continue to do for your residence!

After my Dad passed away my Mom needed more care than I could provide. Country Cottages provided her with a safe and loving home. Mom was so well cared for. Just anything she needed was done immediately. The team there stayed in close touch with me at all times. They also helped me in so many ways to navigate this difficult situation. When it came time for Mom to go they were with me to the very end. The staff helped me to find a good hospice organization and also a group that could provide full time care in my home until she passed. Kelly and Sherry were with me throughout this heart breaking time. The people there are Mom’s and my family now. I will never forget all they have done to make Mom and my time together possible and precious.

Country Cottage has a warm and family atmosphere. The entire staff is excellent, professional and very caring. My mother says the food is excellent hasn't had a bad meal yet. I would highly recommend the Country Cottage to anyone that is in search of a place to putting their aging loved one.

We recently moved my sister to Country Cottages Assisted Living in Decatur, AL.The move and transition for my sister went extremely well and she is easily adapting to the smaller, family centered facility. She often mentions how much she enjoys the meals.

Country Cottage has been a great place for my Mother to live for the past 19 months. The staff have always made her feel loved and taken care of during this time. The location is comfortable and cozy like a home should be. The residents have always welcomed Mother and helped her to participate in activities. The staff has always kept me informed of Mother's involvement and health issues. I had hoped that Mother could live out her days at Country Cottage but unfortunately her dementia has progressed that she needs memory care facility. My family and I will always appreciate the care given to Mother at Country Cottage and would recommend it to others looking for assisted living in the Decatur area.
