To Craig, Binee, the staff and all your clients at country village assisted living…. ….thank you for providing me an opportunity to visit and have fun in your “home.” Yes , I say home because whenever I walk into the “Inn” as a visitor, I feel like I’m walking into someone’s home! It is comfortable, warm, friendly, and inviting. It is not “the sterile feeling institutions “ i have worked at in the past or the facilities I had my mom , aunts and uncles at. It is a large remodeled Inn, with character , now turned assisted living facility including hospice care. I visit my best friend weekly and in-doing that , have met so many wonderful people. From the owner, Craig , Binee and Amy , who all run the assisted living to the incredible staff, too many to mention and all of whom provide amazing care…..to the cooks, maintenance and housekeepers, you rock!!!!! You are special, dedicated and lovely. You are best team and all work so hard and so well with each other . The comfort in knowing my BFF is at home, being taken care of with the best of care and compassion allows me to rest easily knowing ALL her needs are being met. I’ve sat at many lunches, and dinners as their guest, participated in many social events for the residents, had fun with daily activities and met many of the staff and residents. It is a blessing for me to have an opportunity like this in which to visit and feel so welcome by everyone. The residents and my girlfriend are very lucky. Country village assisted living is a family unlike any facility i have seen. I know because As a RN myself, I know great care!! To those in the medical community, and families…it takes a village. The decision to have your loved ones placed in a care facility is scary to say the least but assure you country village is as close to home as home can be. I would recommend this 5 star facility to anyone. This is a picture of chris and I participating in Casco days.

I am beyond grateful for Country Village! My mother has lived there since 2022 and the care surpasses every expectation I had! I say to all who will listen that it is a place of love! I live in Colorado, moving shortly after mom moved to Country Village. When I visit, I spend a LOT of time there and get to see that every time staff pass a resident they engage with them and that they go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the residents (and the families!). The sweetest part is that my mom used to work in the building as a teenager…as the soda fountain girl when it was an inn. And it still feels like an Inn…cozy! Highly recommend country village and happy to chat with any family considering it for care for a loved one!

I’m writing this review almost a year later, but I feel it’s important to give credit where it’s due. My mother was only at Country Village for a week, she had been placed in hospice, but in that short time, the care and support we received were incredible. The residents were so welcoming and friendly, and the staff showed true compassion towards my sister and me when my mother passed. I was at ease knowing that my mother was in the hands of such competent and caring people during the final days of her life. The staff went above and beyond, making sure she was comfortable and respected. I’m forever grateful for their kindness and dedication.

My brother Malcolm Hoyt was a patient there for 7 years and his care was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very homie and comfortable for the patients and their family. I would highly recommend Country Village Assisted Living for their compassion and care.

This is a great place for those in need if they like a rustic, homey location. The workers are all very nice. All of them. The facility looks like an old farm house. It's in a quiet town near a lake. There is a public library not far from the facility. The only issue is that with an older facility there are certain drawbacks such as uneven floors, retrofitting, only one stair chair lift (no elevator), etc.
