My 95-year-old mother has been a Jamestown resident for a year. She moved in after she had an accident that restricted her mobility. My wife and I looked at assisted living facilities throughout Utah Valley and chose the Courtyard at Jamestown because of its reputation, high quality facilities, and friendly reception when we visited. I asked several medical professionals who attended my mother and, to a person, they recommended the Courtyard at Jamestown as the best assisted living facility in Utah Valley. My mother is very happy there and as a family we feel, without hesitation, we made the right choice. My mother was immediately welcomed by the staff and residents who made a special effort to get to know her interests and needs and ensure she was included in as many activities as she felt comfortable attending. Everyone I talk to on the staff knows my mother by name and often comments on how she is doing and how happy they are to have her there. The front office staff and management were very helpful and welcoming during the move-in process and they ensured my mother immediately felt at home with her new friends. The activities are exceptional; Jamestown focuses on the whole person concept of mind, culture, body, and spirit. There's always something going on and my mother particularly enjoys excursions, arts and crafts, musical events, movies, and bingo. The food is exceptional and the wait and kitchen staff are very attentive to my mother's special dietary requirements. I talk to the medical staff several times a month and they are always aware of my mother's needs and will quickly assist with whatever care is needed. As wonderful as the facilities and food are, what makes Jamestown special are the residents and staff. It is truly an exceptional community and I recommend it without hesitation.

The facility is beautiful, and so welcoming. The residents all love it. I had the opportunity to speak with several residents and they each spoke about how happy they are and that they wish they would have moved in sooner. The activity schedule is robust. The grounds are beautiful with walking paths, a pond and beautiful gardens. The food also looked amazing. I wish I had time to stay and eat. Many residents spoke about how delicious the food is at every meal. It really felt like resort style living. It is beautiful, clean and smells wonderful. It is obvious the staff loves the residents as well. It was great to see all the interactions. It is a beautiful option for assisted living in Provo.

Everyone is really nice here! I love coming here and visiting my family friend! She's well taken care of here! The staff do a fantastic job in all that they do! You can tell they all care about all of the residents here. They go above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable and taken care of!

Sending my mother to memory care was difficult, but she needed more supervision than my siblings and I are able to provide. My younger sister and I moved my mother to the Courtyard at Jamestown Memory Care facility. We appreciated the kindness shown my mother by most of the care team. However, cost of the facility is far higher than the quality of care. It wasn’t many weeks after my mom moved in to Courtyard that we received notice one of the patients was quarantined with scabies. We assumed the best, but sometime in September our mother began itching. She became more miserable by the week. She was seen (and misdiagnosed) by the facility’s Physician Assistant. A cream was ordered and applied daily. She continued to feel miserable and began showering at all hours of the day. (The director of the center insisted that scabies was not the cause.) After much deliberation, my younger sister found a new facility for my mother. We removed her from the Courtyard at Jamestown’s memory center in November. Two weeks after she left the memory center she was seen by a dermatologist - diagnoses “scabies.” Scabies is an highly contagious parasite that must be properly dealt with. Unfortunately, my mom had become quite dizzy before my sister was able to get her to a dermatologist, and had injured herself in numerous falls. Thankfully, appropriate care has been given. My mom is healing; her health is finally improving. After this horrible experience, I would not recommend Courtyard at Jamestown’s Memory Care to friends or family.

I love Courtyard at Jamestown . I’ve only seen staff that are caring and nice to everyone. I’ve sang there for over 20 years and will continue until I’m ready to retire. I would love to retire there. The accommodations are wonderful. The activity department is very caring. The kitchen staff does a great job and you have a chef creating wonderful meals. When I’ve asked residence how they love it there and they said it’s the best! 👏👏🥰 Here’s a picture of Gail Halverson ( the candy Bomber) and myself when he lived there before he passed away at age 101 . He would sit in the back row and say bravo, bravo when He came to my performances. He loved it there and so do I.🥰
