COURTYARD AT OSHKOSH (THE)

I'm having the same issue as another reviewer. Mother passed away 11/7 and had her room emptied same day. Staff was great but issues with getting a refund and call backs from Administration. Continued to be sent to Corporate but yet google where is the corporate office and it returns Jackson St. Trying to close out mothers account so I can distribute the funds to her beneficiaries.

The nursing staff are wonderful. However, the administrators are not. My mother passed away on 9/2/25. Her room was vacated on 9/4/25. Her full September rent ($6,450.00) was automatically deducted from her bank account on 9/1/25. We were told that a refund would be issued in 30 days. I spoke to the Head Administrator 3 weeks ago and was told that a check would be sent out from corporate. We still have not received our refund. Since then, I have left many voicemails on his phone, and he has not had the courtesy to respond to me at all. Navigating through the death of a loved one is difficult enough with out having the added stress of dealing with someone who seemingly couldn't care less about doing what is right.

My mother just transitioned here approximately 2 weeks ago and she shares with family and friends how the courtyard feels just like home. ALL staff members are impeccable. Her friends who come and visit say the same thing about the staff. 8/5/25 My mom is still doing amazing at this facility. I’m giving the Courtyard of Oshkosh a solid 5 ⭐️ rating. My mom has been there for a little over a year and is doing well! Like any assisted living facilities they have challenges to overcome at times. The nice thing about Courtyard is the knowledgeable and friendly staff will always help and resolve issues quickly. I see the same friendly staff during my visits and I’m always greated with a smile!! My mom is comfortable in a clean environment and always gets the extra attention when needed! Holidays are always enjoyable with joyful decorations and great food to!!!

The Courtyard staff and management has been so helpful and caring since I have placed 2 parents in memory care there. My parents have not necessarily made things easy on the staff, with their struggles to adapt, but staff has had SO much patience and willingness to help with the transition from home to facility. I have been updated and contacted by staff in a very timely manner when their situations necessitate. Facility is very clean, and the food has been great. I would highly recommend The Courtyard to anyone needing to find a care facility for loved ones, they have been AWESOME.
